Description of Work: Removed 6 trees

Description of Work: I had a couple apple trees that were in desperate need of trimming. Since I'm a 64 you female I can't use a chain saw. Also some trees that were blocking our Internet signal because of the leaves. They came out and I had my daughter get the estimate since I work crazy hours and have only a few days off to get work done. My list is a mile long because I'm single and as I said aged 64. She was given an estimate and was told maybe we might want to contact Detroit Edison as the 3 maples were near wires and they'd do it for free. I didn't want ton do that as I've seen their quality of work and they killed my 2 birch trees by cutting them at the wrong time is the year. I decided to get the apple trees cut and 2 of the maples. He said it wasn't good for the trees so since the sugar maple sat north of the other two and it might not be blocking the signal. I called a couple times and said please leave a message if you can come this day. No response. I called again. Please leave a message if you can come. He then called when I was sleeping ands left a message saying I've called you several times. We don't cut tress under primaries. Apparently they were backing out of cutting the maples. No mention of the apple trees. He implied that it was my fault we were playing phone tag. I told him i can't take calls on my cell phone at work. I even said call my work and ask for me. Why would you give an estimate for a job you knew you weren't going to do? I've wasted 3 weeks with nothing to show for it. He also said to my daughter we have to come all the way from St Clair. It takes me 20 minutes to get to work and according to Google they are 6 minutes past where I work on the same road that my work is it. My co-worker said she hired them and had issues too. She had to go to the business to get them to come. She said they did a great job so I was looking forward to hiring them. But apparently they don't need my business.

Description of Work: Timbers removed a huge maple tree from an island with very limited access. They arranged transport of trucks and equipment to and from the island and removed the tree from a very difficult location. This is an outstanding business that took on this tough job and completed the job when and how they said they would. Communication was excellent.

Description of Work: I recommend Timbers Tree Service for their work was done as I |asked. The CREW was FAST and the CLEANUP was GREAT! They are a |local company which keeps people employed in the area. I give |them a HIGH RATING for their SERVICE and would use them again.

Description of Work: Removed one very large ash tree and 4 smaller trees and ground stumps.

Description of Work: Cut down 3 trees, ground the tree stumps and removed all of the wood from my property. One tree was in the front yard and 2 trees were in the back yard. The tree in the front yard was a 150 year old white oak that sadly had outgrown the area it had been planted in. The roots from this tree were in the plumbing so I had to have the drain snaked twice in the year since I bought this house. This tree was really tall (maybe 4 stories high) and at least 3-4 feet in diameter - really big tree. In the back yard 2 more trees were cut down, stumps ground and the wood removed from my property. The trunk of one of the trees was hollow, and the other tree was pretty much dead. So both were a hazard and needed to be removed. And finally they trimmed the last tree which was left in the back yard.

Description of Work: My Dad hired Timbers Tree Service to remove a double trunk oak tree from the side of the house. He however didn't want them to drive on the lawn. So Timbers rented a crane. They cut the first trunk in half and removed the top half with the crane and then cut that trunk at ground level and removed the bottom half. The other trunk was taller and had to be removed in three sections. Also they had three guys with chain saws cutting off limbs as another guy fed them into a chipper that blew the chips into an enclosed truck. The trunk was cut up and put on a truck to be hauled off (which is what my Dad wanted).Then they cleaned up the area and swept the cul-de-sac where they did the chipping and cutting. In about two hours they were done with everything they needed to do and pulled out. They were very professionl in the work they performed, also in the way they totally cleaned up the area, and in their work ethics and attitudes. My Dad, whom by the way is 85, was very impressed and would not hesitate to hire them again. I watched the whole process from in the house, and I too am impressed. A very fine professional business.
