Joe came over for crawlspace inspection as I had one are with water on top of my vapor barrier. He quickly found that the leak was coming from one of my vents and recommended options for sealing it up. Rather than try to sell me an expensive fix that I did not need, he gave me some good, free advice. Would use them in future if need arises.

They did an excellent job. The waterproofing performs well,. They had to do this in two stages and each time they left you would never know they had been there except where the work was performed (cleaned up, protected my lawn ...). The neighbors commented the workers were even nice to their young children, explaining what they were doing and not minding their questions. My builder said they did a great job - even on the cement (not using cheap cement). Great work!

When Joe came out to quote, i could tell right from the get go that he was a non nonsense guy and knows his trade. Very impressive! He didn't give me a sales pitch, he was a straight shooter and let me know what my options were. I did my due diligence and had four other quotes; he was quite competitive. I went with my gut and couldn't be happier with the results. Joe's crew was punctual and efficient. My basement is bone try thanks to Joe. Couldn't be happier with the results, money well spent.

I was in need of 15 rod holes to be filled and sealed (many actively seeping) and two cracks (damp but not seeping). I posted inquiries via Angie's List to four companies Monday morning. Joe Safie of Water-B-Gone responded Monday mid-morning and provided a cost estimate on the telephone. A couple hours later Joe called and offered to stop by to inspect the basement walls. During his visit he explained why the rod holes were leaking, he explained about the cracks (appearing below the "box" the metal I beams rest in), how he would fix the rod holes and the cracks. Several of the holes were actively seeping and he offered to immediately plug those - I declined because I was waiting on the other quotes. Joe had explained the cracks needed to be completely dry for the crack sealing procedure. Late on Tuesday I had only received contact from one other company. The second response was adequate and I would have considered it if not for the excellent response from Joe Safie. Tuesday late afternoon I called Joe and authorized the work. On Saturday Joe's crew arrived 15 minutes before the quoted start time! They asked me to show them the rod holes and proceeded to get to work. I wasn't timing them, but I'd be surprised if they took even one hour. I could hear them chirping out the existing rod hole caps and when complete they walked me through their work. They explained what they found (the rod holes were completely empty behind vainer slapped on by the builder!), they showed me one additional rod hole than I was expecting, they had filled it for no additional cost, and I notice they cleaned up completely. I am waiting until late June to have Water-B-Gone return to fix the cracks. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Joe Safie and this team. Responsive, professional and competitively priced.

Joe Safie came out to my house twice to quote the job and was patient in answering all my questions. Mimi was consistent in following-up to see if and when I wanted to move forward with the service. Didn't require any money up front and we agreed on a date about 3 weeks out so I could move my my stuff in the basement to another place. They said they would be about 9 am but showed up with full crew by 8:30. The crew was very considerate of the house. They placed full tarps from the front door to the basement and enclosed personal belongings in one corner of my basement. Joe promised to tuck point cracks in basement walls and wash the walls with bleach. They completed all this by 3;30 pm and were done. We haven't had a rain yet but I don't expect any water after seeing the process and the way it was performed. Only snag was we found out 4 days after the service was performed that the power was overloaded in the basement. This shut off power to the basement freezer and we had to toss all the food that was in there and now possibly the freezer because of the smell.

Joe came out right away and gave me a quote. The price was reasonable. He provided everything in writing. Showed up on time with his crew and did everything exactly the way he told me. The crew moved everything in the basement to the center and covered everything. It was so nice to work with a contractor that actually did exactly what he said. I have rental properties and work with contractors all the time. I would be nice if all contractors were like him. It's been 3 months and basement is totally dry.

Fantastic! Incredibly courteous and worked with me to make the project happen. This is a home we are currently trying to sell and I now live over 2 hours away. I was provided with a detailed estimate as well as a video walking me through the proposal. Work was completed with 2 weeks, which was fantastic since the repairs were needed to complete the sale of the home. Job was completed on time and on budget. Upon completion I was provided with pictures, showing every stage of the job including the completed project. Not only did this help me see what was done, but it also provides me with pictures to show the buyers what work was completed to fix the issue. Total cost of project was $1850.

Great crew! Efficient, respectful, professional, helpful, and cleaned up after themselves throughout the job. Joe and his crew were great. I only wish I found WBG last year before I contracted for another company to address the water problems in my 94 year old house's basement. Joe arrived in person and provided a quote on the spot. Immediately set up an appointment for the following week since he had an opening in his crew's schedule. Joe also provided various options in case I was interested in pursuing different solutions. The usual musty/moldy basement smell is?now?gone. Of course it has only been a month since the job was done but I fully expect that Joe and his team will be willing and able to address any questions or concerns I would have in the future.

First let me say that Joe was outstanding. He was straightforward, professional,accommodating and informative. He kept me updated with his communications with the City of Southfield. The price quoted was in fact the cheapest of 5 received. Water B Gone's rating and reviews and Joe contributed to my decision to go with them. The work crew was courteous and these fellas worked their buts off. They cleaned up after each work day and the last day they mopped my entire basement. Repairs were made as needed, poop pipe, ground wire and outside concrete. I highly recommend Water B Gone and would referring them to my Mother if she needed work done.

We had communicated several times initially and it was very positive however it changed when we ran into the flooring issue. After he completed his work he told us that if there was any issues, he would agree to come out to fix it. I called and spoke to Joe the owner after the floor had issues and he was going on vacation. I agreed to call him when he got back and I did to reschedule. We talked and he said he wasn't making any money going back and forth to our house; we felt that he may have mistaken us for another job or customer. We'd like for them to come out to fix the work.

It was wonderful! The Safie brothers are the best. We had just had our basement remodel and beautiful carpet installed when our water leak occurred. I appreciated how careful they were to cover my new hardwood steps, wall off appropriate rooms with plastic and even cover the back of the carpet with that adhesive carpet protect. Joe had told me that there would be some minor dust and that is exactly what occurred; no big deal. They were punctual, professional, informative and reasonable. I would recommend the Safie brothers without hesitation. Thank you guys. It's nice to actually get the service you expect. Since the installation was done today, I cannot say if I will have any problems with the system (although I used it in my last house), but I feel assured my concerns would be dealt with responsibly.

I was a little nervous due to the scope of the job, but everything went really well. I appreciated the fact that Joe treated me with respect and never made me feel as if he would rather deal wth my husband. The jobsite was kept safe, clean and all the guys were professional.

Joe and his crew were prompt, professional, and explained everything. They waterproofed our flooded finished basement preserving as much of the drywall as possible minimizing reconstruction cost significantly. We have been dry for 4 years and they have performed 6 other jobs in our subdivision. I highly recommend this company from a cost and quality basis.

We had a damp area in one corner of our basement. I called Joe who came out for a free quote. He was on time, professional and gave a thorough explanation of what was needed to repair the area. I felt he was very conservative in his approach, didn't try to "up sell" or offer something we didn't need and wasn't the least bit pushy. On the day the job was scheduled, they were running a little late but called twice to keep me informed. Once here, they went into work mode, protected all of the flooring and were careful to cover the contents of the storage room they were working in. I was amazed at how little dust there was since they had to break up concrete (which is typically a very dusty/messy job). They managed to contain the dust to the small room where they worked. There were a few obstacles that came up (there always are) and they dealt with them. One of the issues was a sump pump that wasn't working. With my approval, they shopped for and replaced the pump and only added $50 to the bill for labor. I felt like that was a bargain, especially since they had to work with a pit full of gross standing water. The job was done in the time frame promised and I'm very happy with the results.

They have been really good. They have been out here 6 or 8 times. They fixed it and fixed it. I watched them do it. Every time I call, he said, yap, we will be right out. And they came out and they dug it up and they tried it again. Then finally I talked to him over the phone, he said, 'Dave, we have tried everything else, how about if I tried sealing it from the inside?' and it seems to work now. I would recommend him to anybody. They didn't charge me anything.

The owner (Joe) came out with 1-2 days of me calling him for an estimate. He thoroughly explained what needed to be done, outlined his whole process, and gave a very competitive estimate. He had materials and he didn't waste my time with any sales pitch, he knew exactly what my problem was and told me what needed to be done. A day I agreed to take on his services, he contacted Miss Dig and the very next day my backyard was checked for any underground hazards. He didn't take any deposit and his crew started just a few days after we verbally agreed to go ahead. His crew was extremely hard working and did not waste any time. They were on time to my home and began working diligently from the moment they got on my property. I was surprised at the amount of work they were able to accomplish in one day. After 2.5 days of work they were done. We had to wait a few days for rains to settle down so they could let the soil settle, and then his crew came back to finish grading the soil, which looks real clean and neat. Everyone on his team was very professional, courteous and pleasant to be around. I've had a lot of contractors for other jobs that were not very enjoyable to be around. In the end I got a dry basement with a lifetime warranty on the work. Couldn't be happier with this experience.

It went very well. Crew were professional and explained every step of the way and answered any question or concerns we had. Haul away old concrete and left no mess behind.

I was very satisfied with all aspects of the work from initial contact to completion. I would feel comfortable recommending Joe and his crew of 6 or 7 who showed up on time and worked diligently to perform the work in 2 days, and I have already given his name and number to 2 or 3 people who have basement water problems.

Loved the fact that owner was one who came out to estimate the job. Will always pick a family owned business over a big box CO. Joe did a wonderful job explaining to me not only what they were going to do before they began, but every step of the work asked me down so he could explain the steps as they worked. He was very informative. The crew was VERY nice, professional and very hard workers. The job was done quickly and the site was left extremely clean when they were done.
