Description of Work: I spoke with Joe after discovering water in my basement. My issue turned out to be much of nothing as my sump pump wasn't making a solid electrical connection with the outlet. But Joe was extremely helpful and didn't try to sell me a bunch of BS. I called his company specifically after reading some of the reviews here and I can say for certain that if a real need ever occurs, he will be my first call. All it took was 5 minutes on the phone with him!

Description of Work: I had some water in my basement and they were one of the ones on the list that I had checked out, but they didn’t do the work. Another company did the work. They gave me an estimate. I had several quotes. I think the quote was a little higher. It was for repairing the water leak, re-plastered the wall and redo the concrete after the leak in repaired.

Description of Work: Joe, Charles and their crew did inside waterproofing, plumbing and outside grading. The job included breaking up a portion of the basement floor to waterproof and re-route storm drain and filling sink-hole and grading area around house. They were prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. Work was completed as promised and the crew cleaned up before leaving. |We had 3 other (good)companies evaluate our problem; but Joe stood out - he was knowledgeable and immediately earned our trust. |We will definitely recommend WATER B GONE to our friends and neighbors and, if needed, use them in the future. Description of Work: They fixed a crack in my basement wall that I discovered after moving boxes away from the wall. I have had this leak repaired twice by other providers and it was not done well. This company was very polite in describing to me why the other 'fixes' didn't work and explained how the process they recommend would work. They also guarantee the work so I felt comfortable. So far so good, even with the big melt we've had from all the snow. | |The were timely, efficient and I did not even know they had been through my house nor in the basement when they were finished as they were extremely neat, clean and respectful of my home. | |I recommend them highly.

Description of Work: Water proofed the 3 outside walls of my basement, and poured a pad for my air conditioner condenser and whole house generator. Showed up when promised, worked like dogs all day, cleaned up after themselves , checked back on our satisfaction, and generally made a messy pain in the butt job bearable. I recommend them to anyone, no hesitation.

Description of Work: When we first called, they came quickly to give us an estimate. We scheduled a date for service. They arrived on time and proceeded to work on the problem immediately. When they were done, they cleaned up and charged exactly what they said they would. We were told that if there was a problem, we should call them back and they would return to fix it. Description of Work: Told us that we had to dig a trench around the inside or our home to put in PCV pipes to direct the water to our sump pump, because the water was coming up under the foundation. Their quote was $13,000 ro the entire job. We gave them an advance of $4,000. They trenched about 20%, but a contractor friend of ours showed us the the real problem was that the water was coming through an egris window on that side, because the insulation in the wall was wet and muddy. Told them that they did not need to do any more, that we were going to add french drains to the outside at both ends of our home, on the ends that we received flooding. Told them that I wanted my $1,500 refund. That was 6 months ago. Called them, and the owner Joe Saffe stated that he would call me back in a couple of hours, and never did. I contacted him 2 weeks ago asking for the refund, and he stated that he will talk with his brother and call me back in 20 minutes-he has not called back. I will be calling him today to give him one final chance to refund the difference in what the cost is compared to the $4,000 we paid in advance, and if I do not receive a check by this Friday, I will go to court. We went with him because he stated that he is highly ranked on Angie's List.
