They showed up a few minutes early. They completed the job and left the house in better shape than it was in when they arrived.

Larry O'Hare came on 12/6/11 for a thermal scan of my home. While informing me of what he was doing, he pointed out that I had very little insulation in my attic. After explaining blown in insulation and the rebate I could receive, I scheduled "Insulation Man" to come back. I did call another local company for an estimate, but "Insulation Man" was much better. A team of three came, efficiently set up, blew in the attic insulation, cleaned up the little mess there was and left. They also placed some insulation in the basement between a couple of joists that needed it. They were all very professional and efficient.

We received an estimate at this time. We will have work done a bit later and will update this report.

Called for a quote on insulation in attic Tom came out and did a good job looking at the attic and the house overall - recommended an entire package for energy efficiency Was really the most comprehensive of the quotes I got and price was reasonable after the rebates that would have come from Consumers ($4200 quote - $1300 rebate = $2900 net, w/ tax credits of about $200 = $2700 final cost) included blown in insulation, baffles, soffits, attic door insulation - also, included energy audit, furnace tune-up, window sealing, door sealing, etc. in the end, went with another quote that was about 20% less and only did attic work my follow-up conversations indicated the Insulation Man was professional and competent and would have done a good job I would definitely call this company or recommend them to give a quote

The salesperson, Larry, worked to provide the best price using Consumers Energy rebates. Because of the rebates, the overall price from this company was lower than all others. The workers arrived as scheduled and did a fantastic job. The salesperson, Larry, also came the same day to finish some testing and his presence was greatly appreciated. The owner also stopped by to do some work. After the job was complete, the owner and Larry were available via phone and offered to return if I had any troubles. Larry promised to submit all paperwork to Consumers Energy on my behalf within the week and I expect my Consumers Energy rebate in 6 weeks from his date of submission. In summary, I got more insulation than I was seeking for the money I was willing to spend. Larry did not oversell me. In fact, I asked for more than what he recommended.

I called The Insulation Man to receive a free estimate on attic insulation. They arrived on-time and answered all of my questions and informed me about all the rebates available from Consumer's Energy. Their price was very fair compared to the other three quotes I received. They worked with my vacation schedule to come out and do the audit and then to schedule the work. In addition, they helped set up an appointment with Randazzo's Heating and Cooling to have my furnace inspected. The Insulation Man work crew arrived on-time and were very professional. They wore booties over their shoes to avoid getting the floors dirty and they were conscientious of the pet I had in the house since the door had to be propped open for part of the time. The work was completed neatly and I was able to inspect everything prior to them closing and sealing the attic doors. The cold spots that we identified in the audit were mostly addressed. I've noticed an improvement in the home temperature and am anxiously awaiting my first gas bill to see how these improvements will effect my energy useage. I am very happy with this company and would recommend them to friends and family.

I was satisfied with they're work, and it has helped a lot. It is keeping our home warm, and the room has a comfortable temperature. They were nice people and excellent to work with.

He went through the entire house and scanned to see where our air leaks were, and he gave us good tips on how to insulate and address those areas. He quickly sent me a report by the following day with his recommendations in it.

We were in the process of a renovation down to the studs, and contacted Tom for a quote on installing insulation. Tom was out to provide the quote when he indicated he would be there, and we felt the price to be reasonable, when compared to what we could do it for ourselves, and the amount of time necessary. Living out of town, Tom went out of the way to send pictures when they were done working. They were very thorough and left the house clean when they were done. We highly recommend Tom, and would definitely use him again. Thanks!

I thought their service was excellent. They were very knowledgeable and looked and acted very professional. They wore uniforms, and their truck was in order. Everything was very neat and professional. The energy audit was a special on Angies List. There was one last test they needed to run. I think it is called a seal test, where they seal up the house and try and see if there is air leakage in or out. I had a material in my attic that possibly had asbestos, so I had to have that tested first. I got the results a week ago. They were supposed to come out today and finish the test, but they had to reschedule it for tomorrow. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

They did a good job. I have a brick house and they had to drill holes between the bricks. The job went off very well. The price was really good. They were here on time. They cleaned after themselves. They were agreeable to work with. They did a thermal testing before they drew the insulation in and they have promised to come back next year when it gets cold again to do another one. It is that which differentiate them from the other guys as well as the price. The price was low because they don’t have much overhead.

The experience with this company was the best of any companies I have every dealt with on anything. They were very professional, on time, and on budget. The owner of the company went above and beyond my expectations and beyond his job duties. He was very patient with my grandmother, very accommodating to her. She has two cats she loves dearly and one of which is our late grandfathers cat. This company was very aware of her love for them and they did everything in their power to make sure the cat did not escape the home while they were there working and bring the insulation as well as the workers. The owner also pointed out the duct work was lying on the ground prior to them working. He took a picture of what he observed in the crawl space and showed my grandmother, at which time she asked him to contact the furnace company. He did and he left a message explaining what he observed. He also called me and was able to refer a company to me to fix the problem "Randazzos" which I left a message and they called me first thing the next morning. I love this company and everything they did for my grandmother's home. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone in hopes that their company gets more and more customers and good things come to them for all they did for us.

This company was recommended by a co-worker who knew this person. The work was completed as stated and the owner seemed very professional. His crew, him and his brother completed the install in one day and cleaned up after themselves. I hope to have lower heating and cooling bills in the future. He said he will go by the house this winter to do a thermal image to see if he missed any areas. We'll see. Great to work with.

They were neat and cleaned up after the job, and came at the appointed time.
