Last winter my Malibu was damaged when someone backed into the driver's side of my vehicle in the parking lot with a small SUV. The accident left a football sized ding in the driver's side front panel that goes over the top and around the side of the headlight. The individual who backed into me was kind enough to provide insurance info so I was not overly picky about price although Robert's was inline with other body shops I had checked out. In April I finally got around to fixing the vehicle. Robert's did and excellent job replacing and painting the panel as well as the bumper which had minor damage. The vehicle looked as good as new when I picked it up. My only complaint was that they did not estimate the time to complete the work very well. I dropped off the vehicle on Monday morning and it was suppose to be done midday Wednesday. The schedule then slipped to midday Thursday and then to Friday morning. Finally, on Friday around 3:30 I got a call that the vehicle was done and had to hurry up and drive from my workplace in Ann Arbor to Chelsea by 5:00 before they closed. Overall, I would recommend Robert's for their work, but would add a day or two to the time they say it will take to complete.

The car is perfect, just like new. They called with updates during the procedure. They have great customer service and are very polite. Each person I spoke with was friendly and helpful. Their offices are very clean and professional looking. I would definitely go back to them again and tell all my friends.

They did a beautiful job with the body work and the paint job. Very professional work and I will continue to use their services though I hope I don't need to!

My new Camaro had been vandalized, I was pretty upset. I checked around at local body shops first, getting estimates. I now live a half hour drive from Chelsea so I was reluctant at first to go all the way out to Robert's. Finally after getting outrageous quotes from local shops (one was $1000) I made the drive out to Robert's. They immediately came out to inspect my car with no appointment and I got an estimate that came in much lower than the previous ones. They would have charged me about $550 if I was without insurance. Normally, a cheaper price might signal lower quality work, but I was already familiar with their job results. I had to wait a week for them to get my car in, but it was worth it. They estimated the work would take 2-3 days, but they had my car for over a week. I had told them 'no rush', so I wasn't surprised with the delay. The result was as expected, perfection. Plus, they had a 10% off your deductible coupon at their website, which knocked the bill even lower. They are a little bit of a drive but well worth it. I hope they never go out of business as I am a customer for life. These guys really know their craft. And ladies.. these guys didn't treat me like I was some dumb woman. I don't know about the rest of you, but that's what I get at 99% of auto repair shops. Don't even get me started!

I wanted to find out what my options were when I found my car had a large dent so I checked Angie's list and found Roberts Paint and Body.They gave me the option of having them try to heat it and push it out first before doing a collision estimate.I decided that sounded good to me.It took about 1/2 hour and required them to remove an interior panel to get to the part that needed to be pushed out.They also buffed the area when done.It came out really well and they handed me my keys and said,"no charge".I was quite happy and pleasantly shocked.The atmosphere at this shop is calm,professional, and friendly.They operate like one large caring family.I was extremely impressed with the entire experience and would use them anytime I needed their services in the future.

I could recommend them. What sticks out the most is the quality of their work, their attention to detail and their service.

The quality of their body and paint work is always excellent. If you didn't know where the damage was, you would have a very hard time finding the location. Color matching and blending has always been very, very good. The amount spent was always the insurance deductible, $100, $250 or $500. Our auto insurance company recommends this business. We have never been disappointed with their results.

I badly dinged my beloved 1994 Volvo with a light pole. So I drove straight to Roberts, they responded immediately by evaluating my car. As Roberts is a AAA approved company they did all the claim work AND I was quickly provided with a rental car, which they facilitated. AAA totaled my car because full restoration would have been 2 time the value of the car. Matt worked with me to determine which repairs were necessary for a safe reliable car and offered alternatives for improving the cosmetic state of the back door and rear quarter panel and some paint transfer on the front bumper corner. These repairs were a bit more than the insurance settlement of 1700. but affordable and allowed me to pass my beloved car on to my daughter who is a college student. The car is now serviceable and looks good considering the light pole incident. Matt even located a free replacement spare because the original had decayed.
