Description of Work: Replace both broken springs. Repair man checked and lubricated large 2 car garage door. Chelsea originally installed door about 30 years ago. Springs last about 15 years. Service prompt, friendly and knowledgable.

 + -1 moreThe problem was an attempt to contact Chelsea Door during this emergency with my current garage door opener system in Ypsilanti Township, although I'm pleased with the garage door opener System that Bob Dalian installed, my calls,went unanswered this time. Cannot attach any photos as no work was performed. Not at all like the previous occasion on which I used this service; I called with an emergency, and my call went unanswered. I called four times, and now have called someone else who should be here this morning.
Description of Work: Unable to use my garage. Couldn't open or close it. Tried calling Chelsea Door, a service I've used in the past; installed a replacement garage door opener system when I lived on Ann Arbor, and although I called four times on Friday, 21 February 2014, with an emergency garage door situation, Chelsea Door Company, who replaced a Genie garage door opener system with a Liftmaster System in my former Ann Arbor home has yet to return my call. "D" for failure to return my call; I don't know what work might have happened had Chelsea Door returned my call. Situation is still open with Chelsea Door. Just waiting to see if I ever hear from them....

 + -1 moreI was given a written estimate for 2 doors and one opener. I did my research and found the products to be good. I made an appt. for several weeks out (for my budget). I left the old opener on the front porch. The tech did the work while I was gone. I got the products I asked for installed when promised. The tech cleaned up when finished. The bill was left in the garage and the payment was mailed in as quoted.
Description of Work: Replaced garage door and opener, hauled away the old products, cleaned up.

 + -1 moreI called the office of Chelsea Door Co. yesterday to ask a tech to come out and check the new opener and noises to make sure it was ok. The owner, Bob called back that afternoon, said he would be by Wed/today- to just leave the opener under the front door mat and he would check it out. By 12:30 today the work was done, the opener worked perfectly, and he left the opener and a note under the front door mat. No charge.
Description of Work: Tweaked new door opener by resetting limit switch and used WD 40.
