I met with Jeremiah in the beginning of April to get a quote for a new roof. I was extremely impressed with him. He knew what he was talking about and didn't seem bothered by all my questions. He took the time to walk the roof and include plywood in the quote so I would have less surprises. I was very impressed with his quote and presentation packet of their roofing materials. The next week I had another highly rated company come out and I was not very impressed. He was more interested in beating Melvin Belk's price than anything else and he only gave me a handwritten paper compared to the printed up packet and estimate from Belk. He beat them by $100, but his overall presentation and demeanor was unimpressive. I also had another guy come out that was higher priced and still unimpressive. I meet with Jeremiah again a few weeks later to get the job started. He had an opening that week and I was more than happy to accept. They started about an hour late due to rain and had the shingles torn off by lunch. My house and landscaping were nicely protected, the foreman did a good job with my questions, and the roof go done by 7pm that day. They also did a great job with cleanup. I still haven't found any nails just a few small pieces of shingle. Mr. Belk himself came over and inspected the roof. He was unhappy with one piece of fascia that was properly taken care of before I paid. They also gave me a discount on plywood because I had to replace so many which I really appreciate. My roof looks great! The only complaint that I have was the guys smoking in my front yard,. When I first saw them I figured I would be cleaning up butts for the next week. I have 2 little kids and would prefer to not have them picking up cigarette butts. But, I never did find any so it really isn't much of a complaint.

Very well! Jeremiah was excellent! He was very helpful, particularly working with the insurance company adjuster. He answered all my emails and phone calls promptly. I was very impressed. The roof looks great!

They called to let me know they would delay a couple days due to weather. They came on a day that committed to, arrived at 08:00 as they said, had a very large crew. Originally they told me this would be a two day job, but they were able to complete in one day. They put tarps on sidewalks, flower beds, and the deck to help keep them clean. they also put plywood over windows and our porch to prevent them from getting broken. Each member of the crew had tasks to complete. The team worked very well together, and were pleasent to interact with. I had water damage to the roof boards caused by the winter weather. They worked with my insurance company to let them know the extent of the damage and provided a bill for the portion of the work covered by insurance. The sales rep., Jeremiah and owner Melvin were on site the first part of the day to make sure there were no issues and the work progressed on schedule. Jeremiah is a very professional individual, answers all questions and provides a detailed contract, a very pleasant man to work with. Best part of the entire day is the excellent job they team does cleaning up the mess. This includes the great job they do gathering all of the nails, sweeping the driveway and picking up all of the old scraps of shingles and paper. I would hire with this company again!!

It was just to high a price for me.

He was very detailed on what was wrong and how it would be repaired. He answered many questions with professional knowledge and respect.

Filled out the "Contact Us" form on their website on Oct 1st. Didn't get a response so I called the afternoon of the 2nd, told the man who answered that I was looking for a quote for a roof repair. He took my name, phone # & address and told me the estimator would call me back. Today's the 14th, I still haven't been contacted by anyone.

The crew was hard working and worked very well together. They did the work In a day and a half even though it is a large roof. There was no problem when we decided to add things like taking the old chimney out or adding roof vents. At the end they went around the house cleaning up and making sure there were no nails left on the ground. Overall a very good job I would recommend them to anyone interested in this type of work

Hired belk roofing to install a new roof, they came and did exactly as they promised at a great price. I was very happy with the clean up and the roof looks great.

The shingle delivery people arrived from ABC supply & placed shingles on my home which caused a stress fracture in my ceiling. Belk roofing hired & paid for a contractor to fix the ceiling. The drywall contractor diid a good job repairing the ceiling but was not good in keeping in contactabout when he would arrive. All in all it was a great, the roofing job was done very well and the roofers were polite ,very fast and did a great job.

Everything went great, from their salesman Jeremiah who was polite & very knowledgeable to the complete installation of the new roof. The clean up was very good & I am very pleased with my new roof.

First Class, came out gave me an estimate, Jeremiah the salesman wasnt pushy & was straight forward in what they would do.They gave me a great price, & the crew did a beautiful job on the roof. They did a great job cleaning up the yard afterwards.

Job went very well. We had recieved an estimate from belk roofing a few years ago. They have done most of the homes in our area over the yearsso we felt confident going with them. We put off doing the job until now. The salesman came out & update the estinate & put us on the schedule. The price was great & the job install went very well. The crew was here about a day and a half they were polite and did a nice job installing. When they left the yard was as clean as when they got here.

Great! Communiation was Excellent!. Done in a day, Did what they said they would. Other then a new roof you would not of know that they had been here.

My experience with Melvin Belk roofing was very positive. Their crew was professional and highly organized and completed the entire job in one day. They completely cleaned up after the job leaving no nails or trimmings and their salesperson stopped by to ensure that I was satisfied.

We had hail damage to our roof, so we called Melvin Belk Roofing as they were recommened to us by a neighbor. Their salesman Jeremiah came out & gave us an estimate & met with the insurance comapny adjuster. Jeremiah was polite & very helpful with the entire project. The roofing crew came & did the entire project in about a day & a half. They cleaned up everything very well , & did a great job on the roof.

I had found a leak in my roof. I had Melvin Belk Roofing come out and give me an estimate to fix the leak. Jeremiah was outstanding in explaining my leak problem. I just purchased this house a year ago. The existing roof color was not a good choice for my home either. I did not like it. After discussing other issues with the roof, I got an estimate to get a new roof. If I would have gone with the repairs, unfortunately they could get the same color shingles but there would be a difference obviously in color between old and new. Which I understood. Also I had a few missing shingles. Long story short, I didn't want a patched roof so I went with a new roof. Am I glad I did!!!!!!!! They found another leak that I didn't know about. What an outstanding company!!!! Very professional in every way. Workers were respectful of my home and yard. Fast, efficient. I had never had to put a roof on a house before so Jeremiah (salesperson) talked me through it all. Helped me with choosing a RIGHT color for my home. I am very impressed with this company.. They respond quickly to any calls/or questions I have had. I have gotten many compliments in regards to my roof. My neighbor even had them out to get a quote. I tend to be a picky person in regards to things. This company met all my requirements. I highly recommend this roofing company. My roof looks so nice. Wow what a difference when a roof is installed correctly!!!!!! My house looks brand new!!!

The job was done exactly as i was told it would be, except it was done one day late due to rain on the day it was scheduled to be done. The men arrived at around 7:30 in the morning & covered my grass area around the house with tarps & placed plywood against the house & over my bushes to protect them.they tore off the entire roof & replaced the shingles in a single day. At the end of the day they cleaned everything up & ran magnets over the lawn & driveway to clean up any stray nails. The price was reasonable & the final price was as stated on the contract i signed. I will recommend them to any of my friends & would use them again if i have a need.
