If I could rate them higher I would. Kevin was at the meeting earlier than I was. He had an estimate for me already done. He took time to go over stuff with me and NEVER made me feel rushed. So kind and professional. My overall feeling was honesty and dependability. I was not let down. They did an excellent job and were very dependable and timely. I had 3 other estimates and they ended up being the best one. Also one of the other businesses I received an estimate from offered to match their price. This verified my overall feelings about Melvin Belk Roofing. I would hire them again for any of my properties.

They did a great job. I have no complaints.

He installed a whole new roof. It was fine. He used subcontractors and they were very speedy. The cleaned up after each day. We had a roofing nail on the driveway after the first clean-up and we mentioned it from them. From then on they did a triple sweep with the magnet and they got in done in a few days. It's been about a year and we called them a few weeks ago and repaired another part of the roof. It was a good experience.

Absolutely awful! Took them 2 months to get out to my house which had a tarp covering the damage but it still worried me. There was no contact from the sales person Jeramiah. He would never answer my calls and instead of calling me back he would text me. Super unprofessional! About a month after the service was completed I finally called them and asked if I was getting a bill sent to me. The person who answered clearly had no idea what was going on and said they must have forgot to send one. A week later I received a text from Jerimiah with a picture of the bill telling me it was mailed on the 19th and it needed to be paid. Finally received a bill 2 weeks later. Called them to verify their address a very rude person who seemed annoyed. Will never go through this horrible company again.

THE ROOF LOOKED GOOD. BUT THE INSTALLERS, ALTHOUGH THE FINISHED PRODUCT LOOKS GOOD, LEFT A MESS. I PICKED UP OVER 50 NAILS FOR MY YARD. THEY ALSO LEFT A LARGE OIL SPOT ON MY DRIVEWAY. I AM NOT AT ALL HAPPY WITH THE CLEAN UP.

Went well, they came when they said they were going to. The cleaned up nicely, and performed the work in a timely fashion. Everyone was very friendly. We had a couple of issues that we wanted fixed, and they replaced and fixed it with no issues and in a timely manner.

We already had replacement shingles for the shed so they replaced the ones that blew off. They replaced the boot on the vent pipe and did the flashing on the garage. They were professional from the time of the estimate (which was $1,250 less than a competitor) through the completion of the project. The work was done in less than a day. The roofer cleaned everything up before he left. Since the repair we've had a few heavy rain storms and there has been no sign of leaking. We would hire them again.

Andrew was good to work with. Came out for a quote on roofing. Offer to repair our siding as well included in the quote for the roof. Roof was completed in 1 1/2 days. Siding repair turned out great, considering it was an aluminum piece that is obsolete. They repaired the damaged piece and re hung it for me. Looks great. Roof looks great too. Was happy with the experience throughout.

It took them only a little over a day to do both jobs and clean up.

Melvin Belk roofing did a great job on our roof. Finished job in one day. Did a good job on clean up. They also came back a couple days later to make sure everything looked good and see if we had any questions.

Great job. They were very informative on what they were going to do and the materials they were going to use. Showed up and got the entire job done in about 6 hrs. Cleaned everything up. Also recommended someone to do interior drywall work. Wasn't that pleased with them at all. Had some issues and promises that weren't kept but in the end the job was done - not to my liking but it was done.

Was so impressed. Group of roofers started at 7am and ended at 7pm. In that time the old roof was removed and a new one was installed. Tthe work ethic of this group of men was inspiring. 8 new roofs were installed on my street in 9 days. Our whole street were impressed with professionalism, job, completion and cleanup This job was completed within 7 days of deposit.

Melvin Belk was very reasonably priced & were a great company to work with. They performed an exceptionally well job on our house & barn. The only thing I could complain about is they started the job a little later than originally planned.

Provider did the tune up and came back to repair some damaged shingles. Work seems to be done well and was done promptly and professionally.

Jeremiah was an awesome rep and provided wonderful service. Since working with them a family member and a friend have also used them through our recommendation. Workers were fast, professional and clean!

He did NOT go into the attic to perform an inspection, which I think was advertised to be included in the advertised deal. He did walk around on the roof and did discover and repair a small area around the chimney with a caulking cartridge of roofing cement.

I thought it was great UNTIL an inspector who looked over the job said they didn't use a proper sealant to put the shingles back on. UPDATE: They apologized and offered a full refund. They were extremely nice but it was a hassle during selling a home.

These guys were Johnny-on-the-spot. I called four roofing companies here on AngiesList after my roof was damaged during a recent wind storm. One one answered my call, and the other three never responded to voice messages and e-mails. The owner of Belk Roofing took my call and said he would have someone call me back shortly. Ten minutes later Kevin called and we scheduled a time for an inspection. They were busy due to the storm and a snow storm was forecast. Kevin arrived early, but the storm had started. Luckily, I had taken steps to mitigate the damage. They returned a couple days later, matched the shingles, and fixed the roof properly in just a couple hours. Kevin also gave me an assessment of my roof condition and some recommendations. Belk Roofing was there for me when no one else would answer my call or emails.

They were very professional and I had some shingles left over from the roofing job on the house a few years before and they used them to help me save some money. Very pleasant to deal with and prompt. I would recommend them for sure. David
