Description of Work: Melvin Belk Roofing started bringing in their equipment shortly before 8:00 am. They started working at 8:00am and finished roofing the house and the garage after 6-ish. I am very satisfied with their work, the materials that were used and their knowledge of what needed to be done. I don't think that they cut any corners. I love my new roof and I love Melvin Belk Roofing. They did a GREAT JOB all in one day and cleaned up beautifully afterwards, too. I even praised them to employees where I bank. |

Description of Work: We have not yet had them do any work. Kevin, however was very well prepared, professional and though. We will definitely consider using them when we have the roof(s) replaced.

Description of Work: They did the roof inspection, then took down an old tv antenna and a dish satalite and plugged holes. We were very satisfied with that. However, in bidding on replacing 2 sky windows, we felt the price was very high.

Description of Work: The company said the deal was for roofs with a pitch no steeper than 6/12. When the technician arrived, he said our roof was steeper than that and that he therefore could not honor the deal. He did provide us with an estimate for suggested repairs, and was courteous throughout. I do not have a problem with this company, we just didn't qualify for this specific deal.

Description of Work: Melvin Belk repaired a leak to a flat roof. That roof was totally replaced with high |end rubber roofing. A different roofer did that job. His work 7-years later turns out |to be very sub-par. I had difficulty finding someone to repair another company's |work. Melvin Belk analyzed and did the repair, sending out their certified flat roof |specialists. I would call this company again for any roofing work.

Description of Work: Complete tear off and install of shingles on house, garage, and pole barn. They did the work in just a couple days and as at goes issues always come up but they were handled professionally and in a timely manner.

Description of Work: After talking and getting quotes from 3 different roofers I selected Melvin Belk to tear off and replace 90% of my roofs. I was very impressed with Jeremiah, the salesman. Jeremiah was up front, honest, and very informative and did an excellent job from start to completion. | |The job was scheduled and Belk brought over his entire crew of 14 installers and was able to re-roof my roofs in 1 day. It was nice to have it completed in 1 day but I think that Melvin (owner) was putting a lot of pressure on the installers to make sure that had it was completed in the time. | |Some of the venting was not completed as quoted, Melvin was not sure that the quoted venting would not leak. Most of the other roof venting was re-used as per Jeremiah, it was found to be in good shape so they decided not to replace it. | |All in all I feel they did a good job with the installation, clean-up and I have a 10 year warranty for any problems.

Description of Work: They inspected the problem and gave a very intelligent and informed report of what was wrong with the roof. They were very kind and willing to assist me.

Description of Work: I called for a roof estimate as I had a leak in my kitchen ceiling. The estimators climbed on the roof and sealed a small hole. Told me that my roof was good for another 2-3 years. Gave me an estimate and let me know when they would be available. I decided to wait. However will be calling them to put on a new roof this summer. Thought their prices were very reasonable.

Description of Work: They tore off my roof in 2010 and put a new room on. They are an excellent company to hire. Melvin even found me a rebate on the shingles that were currently on the roof because they were defected. He helped fill out all paperwork and took pictures of the roof. | |I had shingles blow off in the high winds in 2014 and they replaced them at no charge. They have an excellent warranty program.

Description of Work: came out for an estimate, diagnosed and fixed the problem at no charge...replaced some missing shingles. also let me know that I needed a new roof. |Andrew came back later and we agreed on a price. helped me pick out the right shingle and answered all my questions. I'll submit a full report when the roof is completed
