On Friday November 17, I went to pick it up and found the mower outside the building with other junk. I spoke with Todd again who couldn't find a work order. When I told him that I had spoken to him on November 8 and he took all my information, he said he hadn't (I keep good phone records). He also said they never open late (they do) and they thought someone was giving them the unit. I asked him when he would have it repaired and he said he'd get it looked at today and it would be ready right away if he didn't have to order parts. I didn't feel right but gave him the chance and came back 10 minutes later. He had done nothing with it so I took it home. Last year my snowblower sat in their location for more than 6 months (partially my fault, but it was off season) and I never received a call about it until I called in October to check on it. My unit was returned with rusted and missing bolts and a $181 repair bill. It must have sat outside all summer. I wouldn't trust these guys.
Description of Work: No work performed this time. I picked up my lawn mower un-repaired because they forgot about it. I left my lawn mower outside the door at Tourles location on Monday November 8, 2006 at 9:20 AM after waiting for 20 minutes for the shop to open (door said 9:00 AM opening). Since I couldn't wait, I left it there for repair outside. Two other customers were waiting for their 9:00 AM opening. I called around 3:30 PM to ask them to look at it and get it fixed for me (it wouldn't start). Todd told me that they didn't know who it belonged to (even though the name and phone number were written on the handle). He said he could have it for me that day if he didn't have to order parts and he took all my information. I told him that I needed it for the weekend so I could do my last cut of the season. I called the next day at 2:30 PM and I was placed on hold for 10 minutes while they checked on my lawn mower. No one ever came back to the phone so I hung up.
