Description of Work: M.A.C. Handyman's business card says "Insured/Licensed". Mike Cole was not licensed nor was he insured. He broke a water pipe in our home and caused damage in the walls, that leaked three floors down. He had NO insurance to cover the emergency repair charges. He refused to stand behind his mistake. Unfortunately, we had to go to Small Claims Court 12-16-13 to get our money back. We won and collected $1,069.50 from M.A.C.'s Handyman Service LLC.

+ 0 moreMike had done some other work around the house. I asked him to check out the humidifier on the old furnace. He said the best thing to do was replace it. So he installed a new unit patched up the duct work and re-ran the drain lines and the pump out tray attached to the furnace. He ran a new drain to the laundry tub and everything was done nice and neat. He even left me a new filter for the furnace. While he was in he replaced a GFI outlet in the bathroom that was giving me trouble. I will call him again.
Description of Work: I called Mike to replace the humidifier on the furnace. replace an outlet and rework the A/C drain.

+ -1 moreMIke came in and worked around the schedule of the other workers on the project. All of his work was top notch. Installed all lights and dimmers. Ran all new wiring to the panel box. Came back to to the HVAC and then came back for the outlets. All in all a great job. I will use him again in the future.
Description of Work: Mike has a very good background, Plumbing, electrical, HVAC. Needed to have some new lights some electrical plugs,and some HVAC work done. Mike installed 6 can lights in the basement ceiling that we were replaceing. He changed a old outlet in the kitchen. He then checked and cleaned the HVAC system out. including cleaning the coils outside. He also ran an outlet and catv line above the fireplace for a flat screen tv .
