Description of Work: The President of Karpet & Flooring Mart, Len Herman sent his father Jerry to give us an estimate for new flooring on 2/7/15. We agreed to a deal of $950 . Jerry was given a deposit of $450 to start the work. Big Mistake...the check was cashed. Len comes out to my house about a week later and change the deal with my husband when I wasn't home. He wrote a revised price of $1,359 saying his dad quote was too low. I immediately called Len and requested a refund of my deposit since he didn't honor the original quote. I didn't want to work with a company who wouldn't honor the original deal. He should not have sent his father if he couldn't trust him to give a proper quote. Len said he would return my deposit. It's been over a month and I have not received my deposit. I have left several messages since speaking with Len and he has not responded to my request. Jerry has been nothing but a pleasure to work with which is why i gave a "D" for professionalism.1359.00

 + 0 morelenny and jerry came to the house to show us many samples and what a great experience for us. they were thoughtful and informative and very patient with us as it is sometimes difficult for my wife to choose anything . when we {she} finally decided on the color and style it all happened very quickly. the installers came and left all in a day. saying we were satisfied would be an understatement in their case. i would recommend this company to anybody in the state of michigan. sincerely colin davies southfield mi

They were extremely helpful and patient, working with us to make the best decision for us. They offered great ideas that we had not considered and overall, made the effort to get our job done a pleasure. The installers also did a great job, punctual and cleaned up perfectly. All in all, both experiences (carpeting an addition on our home and a finished basement) were positive, we are extremely happy with Karpet and Flooring Mart and would readily recommend our family, friends and associates to them. A JOB WELL DONE!!
Description of Work: Three years ago, we completed an addition on our home deciding to put down slate floors in mud room and sitting room and carpet the bedroom. We used Leonard Herman two years ago, because of how smoothly every aspect of the job went, after completing a finished basement, we also used Karpet Mart for the carpet there as well, and we are just as happy.

Description of Work: Jerry & Len came out to my condo, gave me a wonderful price quote with work to be done within 10 or so days, dependent uon my personal schedule. Commercial flooring at its best! I would highly recommend others using this flooring company. I cant wait to see my finished floors! Due to my personal disability I have found some difficulties working with big box stores and their ridiculous prices or followup with after job was completion. Nothing but former issues.
