+ -1 moreHe showed me a very simple fix on my dishwasher that saved me a lot of money on repairs. They were absolutely wonderful, they were quick, just as nice as could be and very efficient.
Description of Work: They were going to fix my dishwasher for me.

+ 0 moreDryer did not work the next day when I tried to use. Called Ray, the owner and he promise to refund my service amount. Waited a week for the chek to come, and when ut didn't I called back and was told several times he's drop it by. After two weeks with no refund, I called again and was just hung up on. This man is a liar. I was overwhelmed with my husband's cancer and didn't need this. Never even asked for the tip money back. This is just someone working out of his house ripping off innocent people.
Description of Work: Service man came out beacause dryer didn't work. Came out and hit it hard which caused it to start working. I paid him, gave him a $20 tip because I was so grateful. My husband was hospitalized at the time so I was desperate. That night I put a load in the dryer and my whole house became covered with lint. He had disconnected the dryer from the vent. I Had a 90 service & labor guarantee as stated on my receipt so I tried for days to call back with no response. Finally I got a hold of the owner who came out and reattached the dryer to the vent with duct tape. He ledt ( my husband was now home & tipped him as well).

Description of Work: I used A&R Appliance Service LLC in the end of May. They repaired our dyer and checked the washing machine.

+ -1 morePretty good. He arrived earlier than expected but that was OK with me. He was professional and patient with my kids and dog. He took the time to explain to me what was wrong and why I needed the part replaced.
Description of Work: Replaced the coil kit in my dryer. My dryer was not producing enough heat to dry my clothes.

+ -1 moreWe appreciated being told a) that the machine would not stop working in the near future and the sound was nothing to worry about, and b) not to invest in replacing the ball bearings given that the cost would not be a good investment in such an old machine.
Description of Work: Our washer was making screeching sounds. Instead of replacing the ball bearings, which would not be a good investment given the age of the machine, we were advised to leave the machine as is until we absolutely could not stand the sound any more.

The "technician" and I use this term loosely, stripped screws out trying to fix a keypad error, when putting the bezel back on, he must have not been able to figure it out so it was put in backwards and held in with tape. The top was not proper seated and the sides overlapped the top. It was a hack job of immense proportion. I spent a great deal of that evening fixing his work myself as I did not want anyone else to touch this $2,000 stove after that experience.

+ -1 moreThe initial estimator came out on a Friday and was told he had to order part. The part came in on Monday late afternoon. They were able to install the transmission on Thursday morning. I had to ask twice for the $10 off coupon in order to receive it. I would use the company again though. They were very professional.
Description of Work: The transmission on a Maytag washing machine had broken.
