My husband and I just moved to the area and our home was under a purchased warranty agreement. Within two days of moving in, which was the first opportunity I had to cook an actual meal, the oven of the stove did not work. The next day, we began smelling gas in the kitchen. The warranty company suggested I contact a local serviceman to look at the stove. When I called, the serviceman and I agreed I would pay for a service call upfront in which I would then submit to the warranty company for reimbursement. He showed up promptly and within a few minutes, he knew what was wrong with the stove. He was honest about the age of the stove (which was fairly ancient) being problematic for obtaining parts for repair. My warranty company seemed hesitant with his assessment of the stove, so they called him directly. Within minutes, the warranty company called me back with an offer to buy me a new stove! The serviceman knew his business and did not mess around getting down to work. I would have happily paid the service fee, but his assessment took so little time, he refused to charge me. We will defintely use their services again if the need arises.

He was a local guy. He was very good about calling me back if I left a message. When he said he would come at a certain time, he showed up at that time. I would use his service again in the future.
