Description of Work: Called Hondorp and they arrived within 2 hours to clear a laundry room drain. It was difficult to access and involved snaking a drain for about 50 ft . It took them less than 30 minutes and the cost was $143.00. Great job, great service. We have used Hondorp as our residential plumber for several years. Always reliable and reasonably priced.

 + -1 moreNew gas lines were run as I was told they would be, and on the day and in a timey fashion. I have always worked with Steve Hondorp, he is very prompt and when you call he takes care of the problem or in this case a install very quickly, and the work is always done right, and I have never had to worry about having to call him back .
Description of Work: Ran neew gas lines to the laundry room, also to the kitchen. The condo was built with electric for dryer and stove. I wanted gas after I purchased it. I had also used this company in the past for a water heater replacement and a drain line leak.

 + -1 moreSteve Hondorp was knowledgable, professional, efficient, careful, friendly, and considerate. Overall, everything went extremely well. Moreover, his company is less costly than at least some other A-rated plumbing firms in Grand Rapids on Angie's List. Hondorp charges $40 for travel and $70 an hour for service. He was worth every penny of it.
Description of Work: Steve Hondorp replaced the mechanism in my Delta kitchen faucet because it had been constantly leaking. He was to replace the entire mechanism that fills our upstairs toilet tank with water but found that all that was needed was a new washer. Those two jobs were all I had expected to have him do. However, I asked Steve to inspect two leaking outside faucets. He replaced a washer in one and replaced the other faucet. In every case, he checked to see that the problems had, in fact, been solved. He also spent time discussing the likely reasons for a leak from a stall shower into an adjoining room and suggested contacting a tile expert would probably would best address the issue. He provided a name of a tile expert and the reasons to consider that person. After he left, my wife called him to ask about replacing the clappers in two toilet tanks. Steve returned to do those jobs too. He did not charge us for travel time for the second visit and, because the time spent was brief, included the cost of parts in the cost of his time. Steve even spent a few minutes talking about a now-retired plumber who we had been using (and liked) and who had recommended Horndorp Plumbing and Heating. He also answered all my questions to my satisfaction.

 + -1 moreI have used Hondorp Plumbing a time or two before. They do a good job and I have never had any problems with the work they do. We did get an estimate on the work and he charged what the estimate was.
Description of Work: We had a leaky pipe in the storage room in our 2200 square foot home. Hondorp Plumbing put in a new pipe and fixed the leak.

 + 0 moreMY WATER HEATER BROKE OVER THE WEEKEND BUT THEY WERE AT MY HOUSE BRIGHT AND EARLY ON MONDAY MORNING. WE WERE IMPRESSED WITH THAT ALONE. THEIR PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE AS WELL. WE HAVE NO COMPLAINTS WHATSOEVER WITH THE COMPANY.
Description of Work: THEY INSTALLED A NEW WATER HEATER AND PUT A NEW SEALANT ON THE TOILET.
