Mr. [Member name removed], When you contacted our company in April 2015 to schedule the core aeration special you were not happy with the terms and conditions of the coupon, specifically the additional size surcharge for your lawn and choose not to have the service completed. We have not had communication with you since then and you have never had services done by our company. We strive very hard to please our customers and take it personally when someone posts a poor review about our company.

Description of Work: 2 days after an application, my lawn started to turn yellow. I contacted them, they came out several times takings samples of the grass and dirt. They ended up saying it was a fungi. They applied Fungi treatment, for free, but it is still dead. My thoughts, over application. To coincidental to lawn dying 2 days after treatment. My lawn has never looked so bad. They tried to rectify the issues, but nothing happened with the lawn.

Your lawn had leaf spot disease in it as well as some brown patch. Brown patch is not that common, so we were trying to verify it. The first contact we received was a voice mail 3 weeks after the application, and we were there within 2 days. We try to encourage clients to call as soon as they see a problem. It is true that a fertilizer or weed control burn will show up the next day. Unfortunately, mistakes happen that lead to burns, and we take care of them when they happen. However, we were not notified of a problem for 3 weeks. If there was a burn, it was cleared up by the time we were notified. Lawn care is based on trust, and it is too bad that we were not trusted when we gave our diagnosis.

Description of Work: We contracted for the 3 month mole prevention services every summer for the past 3 years. This year the tech visited us in April and called to say that we didn't need the service and would we like to cancel? Very professional and proactive. We will definitely call them for any future needs.

Description of Work: Molebusters set several traps and said they put down poison and checked the traps every two weeks over a three-month period. I doubt if they caught more than one mole over this period based on my observation of whether the traps were triggered between visits. This past fall, after my service contract had ended, I had more mole activity then at any time in my 37 years that I've lived here.

We are sorry you were unhappy with the service. Your lawn had no mole activity on our last and second to final visits in October. Once our service stops there is no way from preventing other moles from moving in. While it is true that we only trapped one mole, there is no way to identify how many moles died from eating the bait. We baited your tunnels on every visit.

Description of Work: I had problems with the lawn care from previous years and asked them to try to FIX the problems of the past. They fertilized several times, aerated and applied bug killer. The lawn looked much better in the fall. I'm going to use them again this year but don't think I'll aerate again.

Description of Work: Problem was poor communication, most by email. Talked to several people over the course of trying to nail down price and service details beyond the Angie's List deal part. Finally reached the owner by email. He was unwilling to bend on the deal in spite of the problems involved. Not a good way to treat a sincere and willing customer.

I apologize you think our communication was weak. After checking our records, it is indicated that we answered all of your emails/phone calls in a well mannered time. Customer requested that we double aerate and overseed his yard. We do over 1,000 aerations a year and only a handful of double aerations and overseedings. Because we only do a handful of these services, we don't write new invoices to say that it was double aerated. We send the generic invoice. This client did not like that and requested one of the services free because it didn't say it on the invoice. We inform our customers, this one included, multiple times that if the lawn is going to be overseeded, they will receive a double aeration.
