I think the project went very well. He came when he said he was going to. The install took longer than expected, but he stayed here all day to finish the job. He cleaned out the spot where I had loose tile. He also had a large new wood board that he cut to reinforce that spot. It was in the corner where the bathtub and wall tiles met. He removed approximately 2 feet square of that corner on both walls. On rest of the tiles that were still solid, he prepared the wall for the plastic sheets to go on top of them. He removed the old faucet fixtures and shower head, which both were probably over 40 years old. I had new fixtures that I already bought at a home improvement store, and he was able to install all those new up to date fixtures. I even bought a new shower fan, which was slightly bigger than the one I had. My old one was just a fan, but the new one had a light on it as well. He was able to take the old fan out, and put the new one in. However, it was probably the hardest part of the job, because he had to get up into the attic, cut a bigger hole, and then get all the wiring and everything just right, even though I am sure it was frustrating for him, he was able to get it done, and it looks very nice now. I even had help bar, that was installed on the wall, and he was able to remove that, and reinstall it once the new sheets were installed on the wall. He also installed a new towel rack toward the back of the shower, and again it was something I bought previously. The towel bar is nice and straight, and he actually asked me how (which direction and spot) I wanted the help bar reinstalled. He asked me if I wanted a couple of new plastic shelves to hold soap and shampoo, etc. I agreed to that and I couldn't imagine having the shower without them. He put them right where I preferred them to be. Lastly, he put a very good water/mold resistant silicone seal around all the corners where the new sheets went, and I have not had a problem to this day. He cleaned up well after the job, and I have to say that I love my new shower! No regrets.
Description of Work: He removed the old tiles that were falling away or not secure to the wall. Installed new backer board in that spot. 2ft / 2ft. Removed the faucet fixtures, shower head, and fan. Installed the new sheets for the shower surround. Installed two corner shelves for soap and shampoo bottles. Caulked and sealed the corners. Installed all new shower head, faucet fixtures, and fan with light.

I finally found a spa repair person, Dr Spa, and convinced him to help me. He took 20 minutes and had us up and running with a spare switch he had on his truck. If I need anything else fixed on the tub I'll just call him.
Description of Work: No support after the sale. I purchased a handicap walk in tub from them through my home repair contractor who installed it. After the warranty was up I had a switch go out that started the water pump. I call Luxury and asked if they could refer me to who serviced their tubs. They refused and said they had no record of my purchase (over $10000). I provided them with the date and invoice number. They finally admitted supplying the tub but said my contractor was responsible and still refused to give me a name for a repairman saying I hadn't bought the tub from them. They finally told me they might be able to help me get parts. This took over three days of phone calls. I wasn't asking them to pay for the repairs, I just wanted a referral to a repair person and still no help.
