Description of Work: Repaired pockets of roof that needed attention. They did well!

Description of Work: Representative came out for an estimate on a roof repair, got on the roof but never actually walked on the roof to inspect possible source of leak

Description of Work: repaired ice damage to roof from improper installation (another vendor) that had resulted in leak into house

Description of Work: Terrible wind storm a month ago tore off 4 shingles. Ben from Good's Roofing said his crew could replace the shingles for the minimum charge for roof repairs. Little difference between new and old shingles. Devon and Rich did a fantastic job. They were very polite an also fixed a drip shield that was loose.

Description of Work: The representative was cordial but not customer friendly. We wanted a bid from them to reroof our house, the representative stated he wouldn't go up on the roof for safety reasons. I was okay with that but the other four bidders had no problem going up there for a complete inspection of our roof. The rep stated he could get the dimensions he needed through satellite imagery and would have the bid back to me within 48 hours. Six days went by before I heard from them again and it was to check to see if I had received the bid. I had not. The rep read back correctly my email address and stated that it was sent out as originally stated, I received the bid within 10 minutes following the call. The bid was hand written and was not as complete as any of the other bidders. My biggest concern lies within the fact that no one from Goods actually, physically looked at my roofs condition. I have heard horror stories from family and friends of roofing contractors quoting a job and then reporting immensencely more expensive repairs are required after they have started. It seemed that this could be the case with this company. All I wanted was for an accurate (as best can be determined) bid on the reroof, I was very skeptical that hidden problems would be "discovered" after the roof work was started. Other contractors providing bids, to differing degrees, inspected the roofs condition prior to providing a bid. This was my first experience with Good's and they did not get awarded the bid due to the above noted concerns. As for price quoted, it was in the middle of the pack of the 5 contractors contacted.
