+ -1 moreIt went very well - I obtained 5 quotes and went with Andy's based on their quick responsiveness, knowledge, references, and price. I reviewed several houses they had installed roofs on. It took about 3 - 4 days to remove the old roof and install the new one. They kept the area tidy after each day, and the roof looks great and were responsive on finishing up a few items afterwards. I would recommend them.

I would have had them do the job but found another roofing company that could do it 3 weeks sooner ( all roofing contractors are extremely busy because of the March wind storm ). Andy's price for Certainteed Pro max def was very competitive. I will definitely consider their company in any future work to be done.

+ -1 moreI finally selected a contractor for roofing. I set it up with the one I have chosen. I did choose Andy's Roofing. I have finally made a decision on what I wanted and where my problem areas are. Right now, we are in the final negotiation on the price. The guy was very persistent, that was good. I had many questions, I wanted certain things different and learnt that I couldn’t afford that. It took me a long time to make a decision. His persistence paid off. He was very good. If he knew he wasn’t going to make it, he would call ahead of time. We had other people that we know of that said they used them/the company last year and they were very satisfied too, that helped. This was after I was dealing with them for some time. The work will be done around the first of May. I told him I wanted 7 days of grace of when he could do it.
Description of Work: They gave me an estimate for roofing. This tree fell down and it did damage. They came out and took care of the damage in the roof till they can replace it, so that was good.

It has rained several times and not one little drop as leaked. I am so happy to finally have this roof repaired. The guys even did a few little extra's that they saw while up on my roof. Put some sealer around my chimney and they didn't have to do that at all. I would definitely recommend this company for any roofing needs. Job well done!

+ -1 moreCrew chief Don and sales rep Dave helped make this a gratifying experience. Dave is pretty easy going and even provided us with addresses of completed work. That way my wife and I were able to view the various shingle colors (don't rely on the samples). Don and his crew worked into the evening over the course of several days to tear off / install a beautiful roof. The crew took the time needed to do a first rate install - no shortcuts. Tarps were placed around the house before starting - everything was cleaned up afterward.

+ -1 moreafter several weeks of waiting for the repair to be scheduled (not a problem, we were warned of this up front) the price suddenly increased by $1,000 and they would not honor the price of the contract that was signed. Now we are forced to find a new contractor and we still have a leaky roof.

The work was completed as promised and there were no surprise added costs to the project (He did what he said he was going to do - Hard to come by these days). Very thorough with clean up and making sure all nails and debris was cleaned up multiple times throughout the project. If you are considering getting your roof replaced, you need to consider Andy's Roofing. There are a ton of companies to choose from (trust me, I spoke with at least 6 of them) and none of them can compare to Andy's Roofing. Happy Roof shopping!!

+ 0 moreThere was a short delay due to tech. problems with a previous job but once Andy's Roofing started the job, they completed the reconstruction and roofing, plus door installation, in less than four days. They even trimmed tree overhang that might interfere with the roof.
Description of Work: Andy's Roofing rebuilt my garage; replacing the fascia over the door, joist replacement and roof underlay wood replacement and shingles, automatic garage door was replaced and new siding was added over the door. The result was a complete makeover for our garage.

Description of Work: Due to a leaky roof vent,I needed a repair job done consisting of replacing a section of plywood and re-shingling the repaired area. It can be difficult to get someone to do a small job these days, but Andy's sent two guys out that got it done. Description of Work: I had a tornado touch down behind my house. My roof was partially torn off, car totaled, tree limbs, branches everywhere. I dealt with Charlie (Andy's brother) for all the work performed. He was very personable, responded quickly to my calls and very helpful. He contracted out the work for some of my damage. The stockade fence and chain link fence needed work. I had the total interior of my living room ceiling replaced and a brand new roof installed. | |The work was finished quickly, the workers were professional, nice and listened to my requests. It has now been 9 months from when the work was completed. I currently am waiting for one piece of j-channel to be replaced around a window. It was too cold in the winter to replace. Besides the j-channel my only complaints are with the contracted men that fixed my stockade fence. They did a poor job since the fence is now leaning at a 30 degree angle. The gutter leaks at one corner joint. The joints on the living room ceiling crown molding have all pulled apart and were not finished properly. There is a gap between the scarf joints and corners (whatever caulk they used has dried up). These are small points and I did refer Andy's to fix my sister's hail damage on her roof. |Lastly as with any work performed on your house, don't rely on what is said by the contractor (re: fixing things etc.) get everything you want done in writing.

+ -1 moreOur enclosed pool house structure (60 feet by 40 feet) was very damaged this winter by an enormous snow load. Roof trusses had to be removed along with the remains of the polycarbonate roof material. We contacted several roofing businesses, none of whom would consider doing the necessary work. When Andy from Andy's Roofing came out, he agreed to do the job. Over the course of several days he had put together the plan, submitted it to us and the project began. His crews were well trained, professional, diligent to detail, polite, and very efficient, and it was a pleasure to watch them work. The finished product is nothing short of exceptional. It was done on time and within the financial quote. The 10 year guarantee is also a benefit. If anybody needs roofing done I would urge them to call Andy's Roofing at 810-762-5958.
