KING KURB ASPHALT

Over the last decade we have have requested quotations and issued purchase orders to various asphalt paving contractors, and King Kurb been the best performer for driveways, parking lots, and small roadways. Depending upon what is needed, they do remove & replace, capping, and sawcut & repair, including drains. They also do striping. The work itself if first-rate, and the outfit is knowledgeable, and is happy to discuss various options that might be considered, communicating well, and doing the work as promised, weather-permitting. The costs of projects vary because the size and nature of projects vary, but they are reasonable for the specific work being done.

It went well. They did the job as intended and did some additional work I requested for a fair increase. My only reason for not putting them as an "A" is that it took a long time for me to get into their backlog. From the time I provided my project to the start of the work was about 3 months.

A very smooth operation. Driveway and parking areas were prepped one day and the next day the asphalt was put down. The crew was very friendly and very skilled in their work! A pleasure to work with them and their supervisors. I looked at some of their other jobs before I had them do mine. I liked what I saw and glad I had them do mine. Would highly recommend them!

They came on time with a team of 6-7 workers all having a certain task of the job and were so methodical we were very impressed. They truly knew their field and how to do it. The asphalt was taken up and ground and new asphalt was added. To finish the job, a truck roller was used to make sure the edges were clean and even. Someone was on all sides of the truck with tools to make sure it was a perfect edge. No one was standing around like in the past from other companies. It was done in a day and we were able to drive on it sooner than other jobs we've had. We will have them back again this year for another section of the condo and in the future. I would recommend them to any of my friends.

What a good experience they were on time the crew was professional and the work was done the way it was planned. They the crew never stopped working and they all had a great attitude. Mike the owner has great vision and was very easy to understand. We would absolutely use them again.

Pricing was competitive and work was very good. The owners, Llloyd and Mike, really know their business and were easy to deal with. Their crew was professional (especially the supervisors Gary and Ken.) They accomplished everything in one day as hoped for, and ensured the job site was cleaned up before they left.
