Painting of cabinets and installation of countertop and faucet completed in two and one half days. Excellent work, very professional, he cleaned up before he left each day, very professional. Very pleased with the work completed, cabinets came out better than I could have imagined. Absolutely no complaints on work or service. I would certainly contact his company again for any addtional painting to be done.

Derrick was awesome, he called right away and came out with estimate arrived on time with good price quote, showed up for job as promised on time with friendly assistant. Did a great job everythng looks fabulous.

Derrick is a amazing painter. He did a wonderful job on the island. He did above and beyond what we expected. Also, saved us money since we thought we might have to replace it. We would highly recommend him for all your painting needs.

They are going to do work starting next week. It was a free estimate. They answered all our questions. We felt comfortable with them. Actually, they offered more services for a better price. Everyone else wanted to charge extra for the trim, but they included that in the price. The guy who came out was very knowledgeable. He gave us a feedback and told us about the paint that we should use. They showed up right on time.

Derrick helped me out of a hugh jam! We are having our hardwood floors redone and they couldn't do the steps. Derrick was able to come right out and not only paint the steps but matched them perfectly to the new hardwood floor color. Don't know what we would have done without him.

Derrick and Vinnie did a great job! The front door looks like new. They started right on time and cleaned up everything when they were done. I had already used Derrick to paint the inside of my home, so I knew I would be happy. I would recommend Great Lakes Decor 100%.

It was a pleasure to have Derrick here every morning. This was a very big job. Derrick and his asst. Vinnie were complete professionals. They surpassed my expectations. Derrick is a perfectionist and it shows! They showed up every morning on time and ready to work. They cleaned up after themselves everyday when leaving. Derrick was very helpful to me with making some decisions as to what would look and work the best. I am a very picky person and we are 100 % happy with all the work we had done. So happy I had them come back and paint the exterior of our home. I was sad to see them leave.

I have a 2 bedroom rental condo which needed new interior paint since the previous tenants left the unit looking shabby with marks and holes in the walls along with several nail pops. I called Derrick Diacono at Great Lakes Decor Inc. who promptly came over to access the job and give an estimate on the work. We agreed on the price of $750.00 and scheduled the work to be done about 3 days later. Derrick arrived approx. 8am and began his work with another painter Vinnie. They worked very hard for 7 to 8 hours and did a beautiful job of patching and painting only what needed to be done, so as not to charge me for something I didn't need. They did do more than originally planned with no extra charge. The color was a perfect match. They painted several walls in each of the rooms along with ceiling paint and trim work. They used drop cloths throughout the house and kept the job very neat and organized. When finished, the condo looked and smelled like new. I felt like moving in there myself. It was amazing what a difference they made. It really popped! Derrick has done a number of jobs for me in the past and I have no hesitation calling him again or recommending him to others.

Working with Derrick Diacono, and his associate Vinnie, was a great experience. When Derrick tells you they'll be starting at 8:30 AM, he means it!! He and Vinnie were always prompt. Not only did they do a fine painting job, they took the time to remove light fixtures and door hardware (something a previous contractor hadn't bothered to do). They did all this while having to endure our very hot upstairs (even though the AC was running, it couldn't keep up with 90 plus degree weather). All in all, our experience with Great Lakes Decor, Inc. was very positive. We will not hesitate to call on them in the future, nor recommend them to our friends.

We were preparing our house to put on the market for sale and needed some rooms repainted and two large cedar decks in need of stripping and staining. Also, a 14x14 ft. screened-in porch needed a new color. We also needed the base of our stair railing refinished. We called Great Lakes Decor, Inc. and Derrick Diacono dropped by with an estimate of $4200.00. We have hired Derrick in the past, at least 4-5 times, mainly for painting but also for wallpapering, deck refinishing, ceramic tile repair, and drywall repair. We agreed on the price and Derrick completed the work to our satisfaction. He did a professional job which made a big difference in the overall look of our home. Derrick has a great deal of experience and knowledge within his profession. His calm and friendly personality makes him comfortable to be around when working in our home. I have no concerns having him working in our home with or without me being there since he has shown me to be honest and trustworthy. He always works in a neat and organized manner and leaves his working area clean and tidy.
