He decided to sell his business in order to have more time with his wife and kids; a career in real estate was the perfect fit. Carl is the owner of The Carl VanderLaan Team. Carl was great to work with! He showed my fiancé and I several homes before we decided on one that we loved. Being first time homebuyers we weren't sure what to expect at first. Carl had free PDFs that explained the process as well as he took the time to explain the process. At closing, Carl made sure that we knew what we were signing. I wasn't sure what a homestead exemption was and Carl went out of his way to make sure that we received the discount property taxes.

Carl has been great in helping us find a home. My wife and I have looking for a home that’s move-in ready for our family. Carl is always on time, answers our questions about the market and isn’t pushy. We feel comfortable viewing homes with Carl, he doesn’t try to “sell us” the home. He tries to make it a fun and enjoyable experience for both of us.
