There I was, sitting in my living room, talking on the phone, when I saw a brown/white blur leap across my couch. Thought it was a chipmunk. No way I could sleep in the house with this rodent running around, could be a whole family. Checked phone book - called several rodent control firms with Emergency numbers. One called back - Jeff could be there in an hour and a half. He spent nearly two hours going through my house, looking for the critter. Put out traps. Next morning, the food was gone but traps still set. He came back several times to reset/replace. Finally, the critter was caught in a trap and it turned out to be a mouse. I know.. . . Jeff came for his traps and to dispose of the mouse. All throughout - he took my near hysteria/dread so seriously and yet tried to help me see it wasn't anything so horrible, in comparison to the stories he told of other families with other infestations. As I told him - much as I appreciated what he did for me practically in the middle of the night, I hope to never see him again!
