SPECIALTY KITCHEN AND BATH REMODELING

We are so happy with our bathroom remodel. The crew was professional but personable. They helped us through design decisions and made recommendations that we are glad we followed. If anything went wrong (a given with this much work!), they were quick to make it right. Very accommodating when we decided to add scope in the middle. Looking forward to working with them on our next project.

Everything went excellently well. This is the best big project experience I ever had. Both Howard & Bob are very nice and mostly importantly they are really responsive. Once the job was started, every question I sent via text, I got a response within 10 minutes. They treated me like a family member, always considering the customer's feelings and doing their best for the design, using the best materials they could find. For example, in my new bathroom, I purchased two mirrors that need electric wires on the back, Bob tried many ways to use the built-in plug instead of hard wiring, so it will be easier to maintain in future. When normal sockets and recessed sockets don't work, he purposely purchased TV recessed socket to resolve the issue. I can tell he did his best effort to help, as if this was for his own home. When schedule is tight on shower glass installation because of the holidays on the supplier side, Howard pushed ho*** ** the glass baking supplier to get everything done within the my requirement. They did all the demo in 1 day; did not find black mold (whew!) but treated the studs with fungicide just in case. Rebuilt, installed floor, drywall, tiled shower, did plumbing, installed cabinets -- the works. It's all beautiful and we love it.

Howard, Bob and crew were great to deal with and helpful with design ideas and ways to keep our budget in check. We needed to completely remodel our 28 year old primary bathroom for aging in place, including changing to a larger curb-less shower and converting one vanity to ADA compliant for disability. Howard is a great communicator and kept us informed regularly of timeline and who was coming to do what each day. Bob is a very talented craftsman. They did their best to keep the mess under control! The bathroom came out just beautiful and we are so pleased!

Howard, Bob and their team did a fantastic job. They gave great suggestions regarding colors and design, and kept us informed through the entire process. Everyone treated our home like it was their own, keeping it clean and the job site tidy. Everyone on the team had pride in their work and did an excellent job on each aspect of the project that they were working on. We are already working with Specialty Kitchen and Bath on another project and have also highly recommended them to friends.

The quality of workmanship and materials was excellent. The work schedule went according to plan.

We had an old tub removed and a shower installed instead. The area was an odd dimension, but they were able to customize the glass door and it turned out wonderful.

Staff professional, courteous and could answer any on site questions. Staff took care to keep area safe and minimized any construction mess. Painting of project area was included in the bid which was a plus. Staff worked hard which meant some days they worked late into the day to keep to timeline of project. Contractor checked on project multiple times on site during the 4 weeks of construction. Project started after all materials on site. If there were questions, easy to contact contractor who was timely in reply. Very little problems on this install and were resolved very quickly.

Working with Howard & Bob was a joy. I was exceptionally pleased with the results of my Bathroom remodel. I will definitely be calling them back for future remodel projects.

Designs in Glass completed 2 tear down to the studs bathroom remodels for us, and we are extremely happy with the end result. The only reason I couldn't check "On Time" was due to the Covid-19 Pandemic which really did a number on our schedule, but through no fault of Howard, Bob, and the crew. The team is highly consultative, which was very helpful to someone like me that doesn't know what they want. Howard was able to steer us towards other experts that really helped us make great selections. Everyone on their team was very professional. We had water leaks, improper venting, mold issues, non-code construction, and a pandemic to deal with. Designs In Glass handled it all! Since the project finished, Howard has continued to make sure we are completely satisfied and at no further expense to us. This team is committed to a job well done, and I would not hesitate in an instant to hire them back for another project.

If I had to grade Designs in Glass I would give them an A++. We remodeled a 25 year old bathroom. Howard explained everything we discussed and Bob preformed wonderfully. Howard offered suggestions that were right on point. Work was done professionally and on time. They hauled away my old stuff and they were so clean as to not make a mess. Howard and his team provided us with a beautiful new master bath. He worked with our ideas and also provided great suggestions for the design. His workers were on time, friendly, courteous and excellent at what they did. Howard checked each step of the remodel personally. Everything was run very efficiently and the result is awesome. Designs in Glass is a first class operation. Starting with our initial visit with Howard, we felt at ease with them handling our project. Since it was a smaller project, we felt at times like there were some delays while work was being done on other projects. This did not matter that much though as the end result was excellent. They are not the cheapest option out there, but they are definitely worth it.

They were extremely professional. They explained everything upfront regarding design, construction, and payment. Very detailed schedule and timelines.

Everything was done quickly and professionally. Howard was always in touch and/or easy to get in touch with. He was on site a few times checking to make sure everything was going good and/or answer any questions. Bob was on site everyday and easy to talk to and he got things done. Anytime a question came up he gave an easy to understand and clear explanation. Anytime something didn't seem right or it seemed as they might of missed something he took care of it right away. No problems. Jeanette took care of all the painting and did a great job. She was always easy to understand and clear explanations. She explained exactly what she was painting and how she was doing it. She contacted me the day after it was done to say there was an area she wasn't happy with and would be back to redo it. She was right back and took care of it. No problems. The price of the project seemed a bit high, but the work was very good. Howard gave us his contacts for cabinets, tile and granite. The tile and granite contacts were easy to work with and very clear on what the pricing would be.

Howard is committed, especially to my time line. We had to get it done, and he and his crew lived up to that commitment. He is a man of his word. I would recommend them.

My wife and I have to echo and earlier July 2018 review. Our kitchen and three bathrooms were outdated and decrepit. We met with a few contractors and walked away feeling they were not enthused and, "going through the motions" regarding the project. After our initial meeting with Howard, we knew we found the right person/company for the job. What impressed us from the start was he his interest in helping us realize our vision for the remodel. Throughout the entire process, he came by most days to inspect the work performed. Issues invariably came up or were uncovered and Howard addressed them immediately. We asked him to redo our staircase and couldn't be happier with the end result. Another thing that impressed me was that the crews he employs have been with him for several years if not decades. The kitchen and bathrooms are amazing and we love the look of our home. We plan on hiring again for another project in the near future. Highly recommend.
