Description of Work: Refinished beat up hardwood floors. 1.5 years later with 2 big dogs and a toddler and they still look great.

Description of Work: Re-sanded floors damaged by first contractor, filled imperfections, re-sanded again, cleaned and sealed floor with non-yellowing filish, added another coat. Looks like a million dollars! Dog hasn't scratched it yet!

Description of Work: They removed carpets in two bedrooms, installed new floors, then sanded, stained, and finished entire house (rest of house had old hardwood) so the entire house looked even and uniform. You can't even tell where the old and new hardwood meet!

Description of Work: We did not use this company although when we called and talked to Barbara she was very professional and eager to set up an appointment for us for the estimate. We thought we had another company st up before calling Property Care but the company was not getting back to us. Property Care Hardwood Floors was very willing to help us out. My husband ended up hiring another guy that he thought was great for the job. In the future if we need more hardwood floors installed we would possibly call this company back. Description of Work: They came and gave us an estimate on getting hardwood floors installed throughout our main floor. The secretary was friendly and helpful on the phone, and the estimator was prompt, helpful, and courteous when measuring. He brought samples and explained differences in the types of wood. The next day he emailed us pricing as promised. The prices were very fair. We have not decided exactly when we are going to start the project, but they are definitely a company worth considering when you want good service.

Description of Work: I called to have my floors refinished, because after using a wood floor steamer(shark) floors smudged I used many products to clean the smudges off but they aways came back as soon as I walked on them. Property floors man came out and said I did not need them refinished. He could have made a thousand dollars or more because I was ready to sign up. Instead he told be to buy a product from Home Depot about $20.00 and so far it seems to be working, this is a honest man.

Description of Work: I had 1000 square feet of carpet and linoleum ripped out and replaced with pre-finished white oak flooring. The Hoffmeyer's did a great job with an old house, and uneven sub floors. They moved all the furniture and put felt pads on everything before moving everything back into place. I addition, they left a great cleaning kit that works quite well. The one thing that impressed me quite a bit was that they coped all of the inside corners on the trim/shoe moldings that were replaced. Taking that extra time and care makes a huge difference in how good things look, and I know that not all installers will do that. Great work!

Description of Work: Tom came to our home and provided a very thorough estimate of the work we wanted to have done. We had a written quote in our hands before Tom left our home (very unlike a couple of other contractors we had come in to give us an estimate). We set the date for the installation of hardwood flooring in our kitchen with refinishing of the hardwood in our LR and DR. We also had Property Care install floor molding and shoe molding in all three rooms. Tom dropped off the floor molding a few days prior to our start date in order for us to paint the molding. Tom and his crew were right on time the first day and did exactly what they said they would do. They cleaned up after themselves each day. When the floors were finished, they came back to finish the floor/shoe moldings and put floor pads on all our furniture so we won't damage the new floors. They also gave us a hardwood floor cleaning kit. I would highly recommend Property Care Hardwood Flooring!!

Description of Work: Had Property Care refinish about 1600 sq feet of hardwood flooring. They did a wonderful job! We were on an extremely tight deadline due to trying to redo all of floors before we moved in. The crew worked several nights till 3:00am to get it done on time & on budget. The original flooring was prefinished with a deep groove in it so they had to sands quite a bit to take the groove out. The flooring is now our favorite part of our new house. I would recommend them to anyone & will use them on our next project, you will not be disappointed.

Description of Work: From first contact to final Glitza application and installation of shoe molding, there were no problems. They knew how to work with the unique characteristics of the maple floor we restained. There was VERY little dust. Work included 2 clear coats only in a dream world could a person afford 4 but think 2 will be fine. Their color specialist who was there the day of sanding, has a talent for getting it right; he provided me enough choices, custom mixed, that after 3 test spots, we hit on the right one. I was given a small can of this when they were through. Their salesperson and office manager were good to work with, informative, patient, detail oriented. We did leave the house for several days just because we wanted no respiratory contact with Glitza vapors (it is the clear coat). Arrived back home 2 days after last coat and virtually no odor evident. By the way our room is approximately 20 x 15 feet.
