+ -1 moreEverything went fine. They were professional and courteous. There were enough workers so they worked efficiently. The area was cleaned up and all debris removed. We thought they charged a reasonable price for all the work and expertise required. And the trees look great!
Description of Work: We have two large trees in our front yard, each of which needed to have dead wood trimmed out. One had branches hanging over the house, and they were embedded in each other as well as a neighbor's tree. Pasternak and his crew trimmed out both trees, as well as a flowering tree in our tree lawn, then cleaned up the yard.

+ -1 moreWe had trouble matching our schedules and the weather, but Mr. Pasternak kept me informed of the day for our service. He is a trained arborist, and he and his crew did an excellent job of shaping and trimming the trees and cleaning up the yard afterwards. The whole block was entertained by the workers in the bucket or high in the trees! All in all an excellent day and beautiful results. So sorry it was so hot today!
Description of Work: We had three trees in the front yard that needed to be trimmed. The Birch and Locust tree are very tall. They were overgrown, with dead wood trapped in the canopy.

+ -1 moreWe originally got an estimate about 7 years ago, but could not afford to hire them despite an amazing bid. We contacted them again for a bid that came in just a couple hundred dollars higher despite higher fuel prices. They came out and completed all of the work within 2 days. The pruning that was done was very natural looking. Paul and his crew definitely have an eye for aesthetics and knowledge of healthy tree care. After completing the job, everything was cleaned up and he even left us the chipped wood at our request. We could not have been happier. Their bid was much cheaper than any other bid we received, and cheaper than bids others that we know had received for similar work. I can't imagine anyone doing a better job.
Description of Work: Pasternak's pruned 9 mature trees on our property to clean out dead wood, allow more light to penetrate through, and generally make the trees more healthy.
