 + -1 moreI've called twice & have sent 2 emails & have had no response. My husband said I should have told him that day to go ahead with the work, but I thought I should have at least a proposal before I gave him an OK. In one of my email I sent my husband's business address so if he wanted a check (deposit) before starting the work he would have it. Still, no response. The lack of any kind of a response has really surprised me. I contacted a landscaper in Chicago just 2 weeks ago,signed a proposal & work is starting in a couple of days. Either Starbucks is no longer in existence or they did not want to do the work @ our house. I'll never know. I just wanted to share this experience with anyone who may be thinking of hiring them.
Description of Work: I sent an email to Starbucks & within 24 hours Dan from Starbucks called & we set up an appointment to meet 4 days later @ our summer cottage in southwestern Michigan. He arrived on time for our appointment. As we walked around our lot I explained to Dan that our former landscaper for > 10 years had passed away last Fall & we needed someone to continue the work that he did as well as additional projects--which included hard & soft landscaping--irrigation system, terraces, a fire pit, removal of 2 tress & a new fence, He was extremely polite, made many good suggestions & seemed very interested in taking the job. He told me some cute stories about his grandmother & how the business, Starbucks, got its start. He said he would be emailing a proposal that evening. It's been over 6 weeks & I have yet to hear from Dan.

 + 0 moreSince the installation of the fence in the summer of 2008, we have had numerous problems, ranging from the gates to the warping of the wood. One whole section has fallen down and is now propped up. When the fence was installed the screws used were not long enough to secure the fence properly. For months now, the company has given us dates they were to come to fix the problems, but, to date, no show.
