I have called 4 times over a 5 day period with no answer. You are unable to leave a message.
Description of Work: No work was done. They do not answer the telephone and you cannot leave a message.

Description of Work: I inherited a large Victorian-era silver fruit basket holding a crystal bowl. It was black with tarnish. My husband thought it would never look good. I was amazed at how it sparkled after House of Renew cleaned it! My husband said that when he saw me exit the building with it, the basket shined a bright white in the sunlight! There are a few spots where the previously-applied lacquer removed the silver, but you have to examine it very closely to see them. We now proudly display it in our home!

 + -1 moreIf you have a lot of heirloom crystal or glass and you would like it to be fixed, House of Renew can fix. There is usually a wait for turn around, but their prices are very resonable.
Description of Work: I brought some champagne glasses to House of Renew because they were chipped.

 + -1 moreThe did exactly what needed to be done. You cannot tell that something had been broken in the first place. I have given them Daum, Steuben, Herrend, Strongwater and all have been repaired perfectly.
Description of Work: I cannot believe that anyone would be unhappy with their work. It is excellent. I have used them many times to repair very costly glass pieces and they are amazing. They are priced reasonably and fair. I have trusted them to repair glass artifacts that are in the $10,000 range without a problem. I will continue to use this company.

metal restoration
 + -1 moreI believe they can repair just about anything and make it look new. They restore items to perfection. Color matching is perfect. I've also had silver re-plated. Everything is fair including price. It could take a long time to make a repair but the results are always excellent. Repairs are expensive but fair considering the amount of work that is done.
Description of Work: They have repaired a wide range of items, from broken china and porcelain to restoring antiques of all kinds.

The quality of the tray and tea set was bad given that they hadn't been polished in about a year. They had told me it would take 8-10 weeks to get the work done. They called me after 10 weeks. After 10 weeks and at a pretty high cost, I was expecting perfection. The work was OK, but not terrific. Next time, I'll go someplace else.
Description of Work: They replated a silver tray and polished a tea set.
