 + 0 moreNo question that it is an expensive repair, especially since it wasn't covered by insurance. But I did get several quotes for the work and all of them were within $50 of each other. I choose Berkley Collision because they had done several jobs of this type recently. They started and finished exactly when they said they would and were right on target with the quote. Very professional and friendly to work with.
Description of Work: The drive rear wheel housing of my 2006 Ford Escape rusted through so the shock has punctured through into the trunk. I need some welding done to create a support in the wheel housing so the shock could be reattached to the frame.

Description of Work: Transmission repair, small local shop but very honest assessment and reliable work, I was happy with the job and didn't feel like I had to worry about being "ripped off", all of the issues were clearly explained.

transmission repair
 + -1 moreMy experience with Berkley transmission was just fine overall. I really think they make an effort to find a decently priced replacement transmission, rather than just the first one they find.
Description of Work: I had them replace two transmissions in two different cars in the space of six months - an old Honda and a Chrysler mini van. Both ran well after the work was completed and I have had no problems with the vehicles since.
