My basement flooded and I started calling plumbers to get out there and stop the flooding. Town and Country was there quickly and I was there with the plumber for less than an hour and he said he fixed the problem. ServPro showed up a few hours later to dry up the mess. They said that the leak was still going on as they were drying things up. They said they were looking as there was water hemorrhaging out of the humidifier connected to the furnace. I called Town and Country dozens of times over the next few days. The flood was on a Sunday night. They arrived Monday late morning / early afternoon. Monday night ServPro said there was still a leak. I called over and over and I finally got through on that Thursday or Friday. They were not helpful or even seemed to acknowledge that the service they provided was ineffective and their lack of service and follow through continued to cause more damage. I called another plumber who came out and fixed the problem. Still no call backs from Town and Country. I did get billed. I call to talk to them. Nothing. They call and I tried to explain the situation. Did not hear back for months. Get a call about my bill being unpaid. Talked to reception she put me on hold for 20 minutes and talked to a man who seemed to be an owner or someone of authority. Explained my situation and experience with his service. He said the work was done and he should be paid. I told him he may have done something but that was not the problem and I had to hire someone else after trying to get ahold of his company for two or three days to fix the problem he billed me for. It is the most ridiculous situation. These guys may do good work. But I would only call them again if I wanted to waste my time and damage my property.

They spent many hours to complete this job but DID NOT make the neutral ground connection between our two electric panels in the house. This resulted in an electrical event that surged 220 volts throughout our house, damaging all electrical components that were not wired in 220 already. This also would have burnt our house down, with possible loss of life, if it hadn't occurred on a Saturday when my husband was home to turn off the box that was surging. AEP came that day and verified that we had a neutral event inside our house.
Description of Work: Town & Country was hired to move our outdoor electric box due to exterior construction.

The plumbers left in the early afternoon, telling us not to use the toilet or sink until the next day. By early evening, a water line to the toilet had broken loose and water was flooding our newly redecorated bathroom. (No one had used the toilet or sink .) We turned off the water main and mopped water for about an hour and a half. The plumbers came back and redid the water line with the proper materials and fastened the toilet to the tile floor with bolts. (The first time, the toilet was "fastened" to the tile floor with a gob of putty!!!) When the bill came in the mail, it was $700.00 above the original estimate. There was never a word of apology about the flood that we had to mop up. We were told they had to go out and buy a drill bit to drill holes for the bolts to fasten down the toilet. Maybe that was the extra $700.00 expense. Live and learn.
Description of Work: These people supplied and installed a toilet and installed a sink.

I told everything in the paragraph above.
Description of Work: I called and asked for a plumber to replace the hose and piece on the toilet where the water comes in. I was charged $85.00. I complained when I noticed water leaking again. Instead of replacing everything they put a sealant on it. I called and they came back, did as I asked the first time and charged me $45.00 I called on a previous occasion because my hot water heater leaked. They claimed to fix it. My basement is scary so I don't go down there much. While I was out of town at my daughters wedding my staff called to say there was smoke coming from the hot water heater. It was leaking and had gotten into the wiring. I ended up having to put a whole new water heater in. When the fire marshal came out to check it he could not believe they did not replace the bad piping leading to the new heater. I called and spoke with the office manager and told her I would want to know if I had a totally useless employee working for me. She said thank you and that was that. I own an adult foster care home with 6 little old ladies and I don't take chances with their lives so I felt very bad that a professional would take their job so lightly. I have never heard a word back from them. I was sure the owner would want to discuss this situation for me.
