Two Ducks Concrete

Two Ducks poured a concrete floor in our basement crawl space. Did the job in a timely manner, it looks good and they cleaned up any mess.

They poured a driveway at my house and we're done on 7/3/2015. They estimated the cost at 25000 and when I expressed concerns about the price Jeff Duckworth the owner said " we provide better quality than any other company". I hired him at more than 8 dollars per square foot which is 30% higher than average. When the drive way was completed there was black spots in the first half that was poured. The black spots spanned almost 70% of the surface area. They also asked my wife for a garden hose during the pour which I found out later that this is a no no when pouring concrete ,to wet it. When I expressed concerns he told me that the spots will go away within 2 months because it is still drying. When I told him that the half that was poured later doesn't have the spots he told me and assured me that it would go away. I owed him 10 thousand dollars at that point and ended up paying him 5 K after he assured me that the concrete will be one color. After 3 months the concrete looked horrible despite the fact that I payed 5 K higher than the average price. He refused to fix it and insisted on getting the rest of the money and emailed me " it is a drive way that is meant to be used and abused and give me my money" that was funny and contradicting mot the theory that he sold me in the beginning which is he does better job than anybody to justify the significantly higher price. I refused to pay until it is fixed and he went to the small claim court to collect. We now have a law suit. He also went to his friends the concrete contractors to avoid me getting an estimate to correct his mistake. The drive way looks horrible 5 months later. He also put his company logo on my driveway without permission. I have the pictures of the driveway to prove my review.
