I requested a quote the 1st weekend in April I wasn't home when they came out but left a very detailed quote with everything explained clearly. When I contacted them to say that I wanted to have the tree removed. The very nice lady Joann that answered the phone asked me if I could email them that I wanted the tree removeded and they would put me on the list. She told me they were 3 to 4 weeks out but would call me 2 days before they came. That was on April 14 and I said that was fine. On May 4th I received a call asking if they could come and take down the tree and I was estatic and said yes. 4 large trucks came one with a cherry picker which was need because I think the tree was over 40 feet, but the crew was great and cleaned up after they finished. I highly recommend TNT they did a great job. Oh and they are insured so that was the best part of everything for me.

I was disappointed, I think these companies should explain what they mean instead of assuming a woman has the ability or means to move would chunks that weigh well over 500lbs.

The other homeowner complained and they did offer to give us a half cord of cut firewood for free which was nice but it doesn't change the fact that my entire yard has giant pieces of wood that i will never be able to move unless I hire someone. They did a wonderful job. They were excellent. They were professional, kind and very skilled in their trade. It felt good to hire an honest company that worked from start to finish without a lot of delay. I am extremely happy and would hire them again. The lot looks amazing.

They did such a great job the first time, i called about two weeks later to do more work. I will never use another tree service! They did several smaller stumps for free and even hooked up my neighbor for free.

i called TNT for an estimate, Tom came out and gave me the estimate quickly. I went with his company since many people spoke highly of him. The day they came to cut down the trees I was at work, and when I came home besides the holes where the trees used to be you could barely tell they were there. His team is professional and so is he. I wouldn't go with any other tree service. I did get about 4 estimates before I decided on this one. Im so happy!

The wood that was delivered is excellent and burns very well. Nice size pieces. My only concern was that I had to make several calls to them regarding the wood, possible delivery, and even a reminder call to confirm delivery. Due to the quality of the wood I will use this firewood service again.

I have used these folks for several years to annually trim my tall hedge and ornamental trees. They have also cut many large Ash trees over several years and my elm trees, I have always been very pleased with their, professionalism. They have always done exactly as promised and clean up has never been a problem. I have recommended them to all my friends. I have always spoke with Tom and he is awesome to work with. I am scheduled to have them do my annually trimming again this year along with cutting a tree for me. Great people to work with!

They have to climb the tree because they can't get the equipment in the back yard and haul everything away with a wheelbarrow. They were prompt. They do an excellent job. They are very professional and courteous. They are also very careful. The price was reasonable. The will also rake up all the little branches.

I used these guys before to clear some brush and grind some stumps and I was happy with them before. I called to have a tree removed that was a tri-trunk, too close to the power lines, and made noise like they would break when it was windy. There was also a few smaller ones growing through the fence. The owner came out the day I requested the estimate even though his wife said it would be a day or two before he could make it. Being by the power lines, I knew they would need a cherry picker to top the tree. I was expecting to pay a huge amount of money. I was shocked by the very reasonable cost for the big tree and its offspring. Just know when you call these guys, all the rain we have had and the amount of customers they have means there is a bit of a wait unless its an emergency. The owner said he would be back in a few weeks to get the job done. The guys came a few weeks later as promised. It was around 6pm. I was shocked they worked so late and felt bad as they must have been exhausted. You wouldn't know it because they were polite, cheerful, and full of energy. It may as well have been their first job of the day instead of their last. I couldn't believe how quickly and carefully they worked. These guys definitely know what they are doing. It was like watching someone butter bread. They finished the job in under an hour and cleaned up completely. Were it not for the missing trees, you wouldn't have known they were there. I will definitely use TNT again and certainly recommend them to my friends and family.

To be fair I am not the easiest person to make completely happy so these guys did a pretty good job. I call this company for a quote on the removal of four trees and some brush on my lot and got a response the next day with a reasonable quote. They were close to my house so I excepted the bid and approved the work which was started within a week. They brought a good size crew and all the needed equipment to get the trees removed but did not bring the grinder with them for some reason. The removal went better and faster then I had expected with far less collateral damage around the yard then I thought there would be. They finished the removal in about four hours and left for the day with the stumps still in saying they would come back later to grind them out. They called later in the day saying they would be out the next day to finish with the stumps(at least they called) They did return the next day at some point but I was unable to be there and they did the work without me being there. When I inspected the work later in the day I discovered that they had missed several small stumps in the brushy area and left two of the bigger stumps just at ground level. I called them and the sent the guy back to regrind on them a bit more without any question. Overall good job if I would have been here for the whole job I don't think I would have needed a return visit i would use them if the need arises.

I had Tand T out to trim my decorative trees. They did a terrible job. No effort was made to shape them properly. A hack job at best. When I called to discuss the situation I was blamed for not coming out while the men were working – even though my instructions were explicit. Instead of coming back to redo the job properly, he said he would take some $ off my bill. I didn’t want a partial refund, I wanted the job done right. Too busy to do the job right the first time, too busy to fix the problem. Just blame the customer. Use at your own peril.

Although I had noted T-N-T on Angies List, I first contacted a national franchise — which I have yet to hear back from. A few days later, T-N-T's estimator was working at my neighbor's house and graciously agreed to give me an estimate, as well. I have had tree trimming done before and so was not shocked at the price. Of course, I'd love to pay less, but I do not mind paying for quality work. I was looking for someone who could actually climb the trees to work, since my back yard is not accessible to a cherry-picker or other heavy equipment. I got a call early in the morning to stay that a crew could come earlier than expected (this is a weather-dependent business, and weather has been crazy in Michigan this summer). That was okay with me, and the crew of three arrived about 8 AM. They worked hard and nonstop, except for when they frequently consulted with me about exactly which branches I wanted removed. I got better results than anticipated, thanks to their superior judgment and skill. The trees all look great and no longer threaten roofs or drop excessive debris on my neighbor's driveway. The surprise came with the clean-up. I had to leave for an appointment after the trimming was done but before they picked up. When I returned a couple of hours later, my front, back and side yards, as well as my neighbor's and my driveway, were spotless. Every walnut and pear had been retrieved. They even removed a little yard debris that had been there before their arrival. Overall, their work was just exceptional. and I could not be happier or recommend them more highly.

We contacted TNT on a Monday and they were out to cut the tree down on a Thursday which was great. The price was wonderful. The tree was cut down. They cleaned the backyard pretty well but the street I had to sweep up after them. My biggest problem was that when cutting the tree down a huge chunk fell on my deck and they were not able to fix it. One of the tree cutters came in and asked my sister if it was and quot;okand quot; that they knocked the railing off my deck and couldn't fix it. Being that she had no clue what was going on she said she would inform my husband. I would think that someone from the company would call and apologize or something. I never heard anything and being as though I just got back from vacation I will handle this on Monday. I just can't fathom breaking anything, even if it isn't in perfect condition and not trying to rectify the situation. ---Darrick Riley

I called for an estimate on removing 3 shrubs from my front yard. I was told I didn't need to be home and that they would come on Friday and provide me with an estimate, if I wasn't home they would leave it in the door. They didn't come or call on Friday but they did come on Monday and provided the estimate of $150. We told them that was acceptable. They came back in a day or 2 and did the work. It was a very fast process and they were very professional and removed all the debris before they left.

The people who came out and trimmed our tree were fantastic. They charged us $250 and they took away one or two branches.

Tom came to the house within a couple of hours of my call and provided a very competitive quote. The work was authorized and Tom had a crew back to the house within a few hours. TNT cut the large limb (approximately 18 inches in diameter and 25 feet long) into pieces and also trimmed the broken portion of the limb from the tree.

Had a brush pile that needed to be removed, TNT had the cheapest price by far! Not only did they remove the pile, they also raked the area for any small branches. The crew of 2 was fast and very friendly.

Called for estimate in July. Tom arrived on schedule to access the situation and gave us an estimate to remove the entire tree and an estimate to remove the half of the tree that would have fallen on the house and garage. I got back in touch with him early the week of August 26 to schedule the work. Tom said he would have it done before the Labor Day week-end, and the crew showed up Friday morning. Everyone was professional, and Tom really knows his business. I recommend him highly.

It went just fine. From the phone call to delivery was about 2 hours. The firewood is nicely cut (no huge chunks) and the young men who delivered it were courteous. I have struggled to get good firewood in the past. I think my struggles are over.

I think that their prices were cheap. I was really impressed with them. They did an excellent job.

They are a local company. They were very professional and comparable on price. They cleaned up after themselves really well. They did such a great job that I had them come out to the house twice. I would use them again in the future if necessary.
