DISCOUNT ROOFING

If your time means nothing to you and you enjoy your time being wasted use this company! I scheduled an appointment with them; THEY provided me the date and time for the quote and didn’t bother to show up or call to let me know they wouldn’t make it. I called them 20 mins after the window appointment time they gave me to see if anyone was on the way and I was told by the guy who answered that he “would look into this and call me right back.” It’s been another hour now. No call back. Nobody has arrived and 3 hours of my time waiting for them I can’t get back. Unprofessional.

It went wonderfully. The day of the quote (a Saturday), we were short on time due to kids's soccer schedule. Abdul (owner) showed up promptly @ 9:00 a.m. as scheduled - honestly, this impressed both my wife and I. Abdul was thorough in his investigation as well as his explanation of what we needed done. We were very clear - it was more important the job was done correctly than it was fast. We received the quote before Abdul left. He was not pushy on sales tactics - in fact, we told him we had one quote to still receive (we got a total of 5) and that we would then make our decision. Abdul understood and in fact, encouraged getting multiple quotes. I did research on all companies via Angie's List, the web and BBB. Discount Roofing marked high on all accounts. The crew showed up on a Wednesday and due to the roof (many pitches, two flat roofs) it wasn't completed in one day. Knowing rain was on the way Thursday, the crew covered the exposed part of the roof with a tarp. Thursday - we had a new leak - two in fact. One in our living room and upstairs bedroom. The tarp wasn't covered properly. Abdul immediately sent over his crew chief who covered the roof properly. Over the course of the next couple of days, the roof was completed - new vents, new flatroof(s) and shingles - it looks marvelous and doesn't leak!!! Relative to the 'new leaks' Abdul took ownership immediately. I received a quote to fix them - passed it on to Abdul and he agreed with the quote and to cover the cost. Overall, we were very impressed with the professionalism, timeliness, workmanship, cleanliness of the crew. The price was good too!!!!! We would definitely recommend Discount Roofing and I would hire them again if I needed a new roof!

Abdul was very responsive, knowledgeable, professional, friendly and easy to work with. The price was reasonable and competitive. Materials were delivered correctly and on time, and the roofing crew began right away. The team leader answered my questions, everyone was courteous and professional, and they worked quickly and efficiently. The roof looks great and cleanup was perfect. The crew to install the gutters arrived within ten minutes of the roofing crew leaving, and they did quick, professional work, too. Their team leader was also very courteous and helpful in answering my questions. The gutters are perfect.. The ventilation added has made a big difference. I already notice an improvement in air quality. My neighbor has complimented the appearance of the new roof and gutters. I'm very pleased with the ease of the transaction and the final results, and would highly recommend Discount Roofing.

Abduhl was very efficient and organized in his visit to give us a quote. We had several people quote the work. Discount Roofing was recommended by a friend who had used them. There price was really great in comparison. The people who did the work did a great job. Abduhl was very good at communicating times the work would be done and weather delays. The clean up after the job was top notch. The only thing I wished is that we would have been warned about the debris that fell in our attic so we could have been pre-active in covering things so the clean up would have been easier. Our house was built in the 1800's and this was the 2nd roof we had put on. Discount Roofing went all the way to the studs and the roof looks great! We really appreciate the shingle advise we got from Abduhl as we feel the color matches our house well. Would definitely recommend this company to do your roof. They are efficient, on time and did what they said for the price they said. We had two very minor facia boards that were put in backward which was fixed the day after we called.

Professional person for estimate, punctual, came next day after calling. Was first estimate I had called, so didn't really know what to expect, so I just didn't had a lot of questions for him. Price was comparable to other companies, and I had been given referral by colleague because this company had done well for them and they replaced damaged wood under roof without extra cost (not all companies offer that), which I had anticipated given my leak. I went with a different company because a different estimator who came the next week recognized the reason for my leak was a piece of siding that had blown off from hail/wind damage (exposing an area where rain water was then allowed to get into wood beneath the roof, and the other company recognized my roof and house overall had a lot of hail damage from a recent storm which I had not recognized as a first-time home owner, and then was able to request claim/assistance from insurance to help pay for roof damage.

Has leaked ever since they installed it. Called 7/7/09 never came out to check roof, called again on 7/20/09 and have heard nothing yet.

Said they would call me back because it was raining that day and its been about a week and half and they never called and I waited.

THEY WERE THE CHEAPEST IN TOWN AND THEY DID A WONDERFUL JOB. THEY DID EVERYTHING THAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO. I THOUGHT THAT THEIR QUALITY OF WORK WAS GREAT.

THEY CAME OUT THE SAME DAY WE CALLED AND THEY GOT THE JOB FINISHED IN ONE DAY. WE WERE COMPLETELY IMPRESSED WITH THE OVERALL EXPERIENCE WITH THE COMPANY. THEY ALSO HAD THE MOST REASONABLE PRICES WE COULD FIND.
