It went beautifully. They did a good job. They were very fast, very efficient, and very neat.

A-1 Concrete Leveling did an amazing job. The brought up my cracked and sunken concrete pad almost 6" to its original position and successfully leveled several tilted pieces of sidewalk. They were professional, affordable, and were able to finish the job more quickly than I expected. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a cement leveling service.

I chose this company based on reviews from Angie's List. The job is perfect. The drive is completely level and the walkway to the porch is no longer a trip hazerd. The workers knew exactly what to do and performed their task while we were out of the day.

Everything went fine. They were on time on the day promised and the work was mostly completed in three days. They had to cut, remove and replace a slab of the concrete drive and walk to install two of the pilings. Since they have to wait until the excavated soil settles they were unable to finish level the concrete at that time. That will be done when the soil has settled. One additional important item is that the work is guaranteed in writing and that guarantee is transferable to the new owner if the house is sold. The final leveling of the concrete was completed on October 28. The delay in completing the concrete leveling was my choice. They would have comeback and completed the job any time I requested it. But I decided that I wanted as much settling of the soil as possible before they returned. All in all I must say that they did an excellent job. They came on time as scheduled did the work and cleaned up when they were done.

I'm very happy with the results. I have recommended A-1 to neighbors, and I would use them again.

The estimator arrived on a Sunday - I couldn't believe that anyone would work on a Sunday. Very professional and courteous. Answered my question with professional and friendly responses. Gave me the quote and Thanked me for the opportunity. After discussing with my wife we decided to hire A-1 Leveling for our work. The crew showed up on time also very professional and courteous and got right to work. I had to leave after an hour and the crew explained what they were going to do and what I needed to do after they finished. When I came home the crew had finished, cleaned everything up and had left. I was absolutely amazed at the workmanship that A-1 Leveling had done for me. I cannot say it enough - if you need some cement leveled - at the very least give A-1 the opportunity to bid on your work - you'll be glad you did! VERY happy all around. Thank you A-1 Leveling

They performed the job to perfection and left things clean as new.

When the went to level the steps they pushed the steps away from the porch and made them worse and cracked some of the concrete below on the sidewalk. So, it made the situation worse instead of doing what they said they were going to do. They were slow to respond and were not willing to completely correct the job, which would have meant replacing the steps. They offered to do the best they could to patch it, but it would have been unacceptable. What they ended up doing, basically, was not charging us for the job, but it made the situation worse. I wish I would have just left it the way it was. It is terrible the way it is now. I sent them letters with pictures, trying to get them to do something about it. They just wanted to fill in the gaps with caulk, but it would have looked terrible and would not have worked. I was not there when they actually did the job, but it seems like they could have avoided it getting that way if they were monitoring it so that they could stop the machine they used from pushing the steps away.

I called A-1 concrete to see if they could accommodate a very last minute request. We are moving and needed the work done to be able to rent out our house without trip hazards. They were able to squeeze me in the week I asked for, and then even called back and moved me up as they knew our timing was critical. I received quotes for the leveling and for caulk and clean of whole driveway. We only moved forward with leveling. Caulk work through A-1 would have been great, but our quote was $975.00 for this for the whole driveway, and that was just not feasible for us. My husband is going to do the caulk work himself. We were most concerned with the leveling to make the driveway safe for our rental tenants. The morning of service, there was a lot of rain, and I wasn't sure if the company would be able to do the work. I saw the truck pull up 15 minutes ahead of service, and they came to the door right on schedule. They let me know they could work in the rain and got right to work. It took them about 1.5 hours to complete the work. Work was done exactly as quoted, and both workers were very professional and a pleasure to work with. Our driveway is a safer place. I am grateful for the excellent service this company provided to me. I would highly recommend them to others.

Things couldn't have gone smoother. They showed up on time and were finished in about 4-6 hours. It is several weeks later and things are still great and we are parking in the garage with no issues. You also get a 4 year warranty against any future sinking. I couldn't be happier with the service they provided (and a reasonable price). I would highly reccommend A-1.

I did not like dislike anything. They came out, gave me a quote and I signed up to have it done. They were out a few days later to do the job. They spent three hours here, cleaned up and did a nice job. They did what they promised. I just recommended them to a friend of mine.

I was impressed with his honesty and willingness to lose business in order to keep his integrity. The previous company I had called had just looked at it while I wasn't home and just said they couldn't help me. Darrel actually explained why.

Overall I was pleased with the result. Pros: -They delivered the results they promised. -Staff seemed knowledgeable on the subject. -They were true to their time commitments. -Staff was friendly. -They left a cleaned up job site. Cons: -I thought the price was a bit high, $1100 for crew of two guys and equipment. It took them less than 3 hours from start to finish.

The "estimate" I signed turned out to be a work order. That was *not* made clear. One of the two concrete patches which were supposed to be chiseled off and the slab raised wasn't done. The balance of the work appeared to be neat and professional and when I called asking why the work was done and why *all* the work wasn't done the estimator came out to my house within a couple of hours. The explanation for why the one patch was removed/slab raised and the other wasn't would have been more believable had the difference been made clear when I was getting my "estimate" but the responsiveness to my questions/concerns argues against A-1 being a scam shop but isn't above taking advantage of oversights on the part of their customers. Would I deal with A-1 again? Yeah, I might although I'd take nothing for granted nor would I sign anything until I was certain I'd selected A-1 to do the work. At that point I'd go over every item of work to be done to make sure there was no confusion and no potential for misinterpretation.

The crew arrived on time and did an excellent job. They answered all my questions, did the job efficiently and cleaned up afterward. They were a little surprised that the void below the slab was so deep. Even though the job required a great deal more limestone than expected there was no mention of an extra charge. I almost felt guilty using the 5% off Angie's coupon. I got three bids and theirs was by far the lowest. I already called to get another bid on my garage floor and driveway.

We didn't do the work on Brett's advice.

I needed some repairs to the foundation of a cottage we recently purchased. BRET showed up promptly and went into the crawl space to look at the problem. He seemed to have a good understanding of what was wrong, but was quite honest and stated that his company is not the right choice for this particular job. He then gave me the name of another independent contractor who does the type of work that I needed. Overall, quite professional and easy to talk to. I certainly appreciated his honesty.

Brett came out as promised and scheduled. After evaluating the work that needed to be done, it was determined that he could not solve my problems 100%. Rather than do what he could, he recommended against having him do the mud-jacking, and instead look into replacing the concrete. He could have easily had me pay for his service, but instead recommended what was best for me. I truly appreciated his honesty, even if it meant him passing up business. Due to his professionalism, courtesy, and honesty, I will always call him back if we need concrete leveling services in the future. Thank you Brett

Based on just getting the quote, they were very responsive. They came out fairly promptly. Everybody was very professional. From that stand point, I would definitely go back to them and get a quote if I needed it. There is no reason for me not to go back to them. If I needed to get a quote or other services, I would definitely consider them.

From first call to completion was two days. The price was much better than expected.

It was a fantastic experience and they are great. They came out to my house next day with the estimate. I was impressed with the man that they did their estimating, he was extremely professional and gave me much more advice than was related to the job he was going to be doing. He gave me lots of options and stuff. I chose them because of their promptness and communciation and the price was fair. The job was done within a week and they did a fantastic job. Their workers very courteous and cleaned up after themselves.

It went well. Our only concern is that the work was competed very late into the season (because of weather related delays). We're hopeful that the crack filling will hold up.

The person who came out was professional. He seemed to know what he was talking about, and most likely we would go with him once the weather wounds up.
