Brent explained how the leveling process worked, which was much more involved than I thought. He advised me as to how leveling slab-A might affect slab-B, so we could decide exactly how to approach the job. As the work progressed, he leveled a couple other slabs free of charge, for a better result. He ran into a problem with a small slab under a step, but took his time, and did the best he could. He, and his partner, were professional and courteous, taking time to assess how each slab might affect the next one. They cleaned up the mess very well before they left, and never gave me the impression that they were only concerned about how quickly they could finish and leave. They're pricing was much better than two other quotes, and their salesman seemed more willing to help me decide which slabs to level without running up the cost. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

b took about two hoursInitially it took a while for the office to reply to my request for an estimate, but after that everything was on schedule for them to give me an estimate and to come out and do the work. Greg and James arrived about ten minutes before the appointed time and went straight to work. The job took about two hours. everything was accomplished to my satisfaction and they did a great job of cleaning everything up when they were finished. They also gave me good advice about caulking the joints between slabs. I would recommend this company very highly.

I would highly recommend A-1 to anyone who has concrete that is not level. I bought an older home that had 4" of concrete movement in a 2 stall garage and many trip hazards. In a matter of hours, they were able to completely level it at a much lower cost than had I re-poured it. The technicians were friendly and provided useful tips to prevent it from happening again. They also included a 6 year warranty on their work. The floor is good as new, less the cracks that were already there.

Staff from A-1 arrived on time and did an excellent job of leveling both the stamped concrete and he walkway from the porch to the driveway.

Timely from the setting of quotation appointment through completion of job, professional and friendly in presentation and communications, no hassle to schedule a work repair appointment for damages due to Mother Nature's harsh 2013/14 winter. They were the last company I obtained an estimate from and did not expect much, but have been pleasantly surprised. They were not the cheapest nor were they the most expensive. Nice clean work!

A1 leveled almost 800 sq.ft. of lobby floor to almost the same level as the concrete was the same level as when it was originally pored. When they finished, I was able to repair the vinyl tile flooring so that the concrete expansion join was no longer visible and was no longer a tripping hazard.

We hired them to level our driveway by lifting 3 of the concrete slabs. They did a good job and pretty quickly also.

We got an estimate in May, 2013 to seal all the joints in our driveway. The salesman never followed up with us so in Aug 2014, I called A-1 to schedule the job. The lady I spoke to said they would put us on the schedule and give us a call. Never heard from them. On Sept 27 I left a message and they never got back to me, so on Sept 29 I called A1 again and was told they were backed up because of all the rain we'd had but would schedule us in the next couple of weeks. Never heard from them. I called again in Oct and was told they were still backed up even though we'd had beautiful weather. At this point, I told them to forget it. We've used A-1 at our last house and was quite satisfied with them. But we wouldn't use them again. You shouldn't have to chase a company to get service.

Overall, I love the quality of work done. The leveling was done promptly, the sealing of the driveway took a long time to schedule and we did have to call them multiple times to get it done. Eventually the job was done, and overall I am satisfied with the quality of work done.

They came and quoted the job. Their quote was significantly below their competitor. I decided not to pursue leveling my walk for other reasons. If I decide to have the work fine later, I will use them.

Brett was very straightforward and informative and urged me "not to waste my money" on leveling but to have the whole garage floor replaced. He referred me to a company who does that kind of work and got I very reasonable estimate to replace both the garage floor and complete driveway. It is refreshing to meet an honest sales rep who does the right thing. I highly recommend A-1 Concrete leveling. P.S. It pays to educate yourself, do your homework and get more than one estimate. I previously had two other companies look at the garage floor, Company A said "yes, they could do the leveling for $2,000". Company B said " don't waste your money and get it replaced". Unfortunately, Company B referred me to Company C, who gave me an estimate of $9 K just to replace the garage floor.

Very well. They were booked for several weeks out when I called, but they came promptly as scheduled, they were professional, and neat and the walk looks great, and all of the trip hazards removed.

They were very responsive and arrived at the time specified. I talked with the foreman about the project and left for work. Upon return the work was completed and notes were left about the work. They cleaned up the work area as mentioned in the initial meeting.

I contacted them in July 2013 about leveling my driveway and two sidewalks (one to the front of the house and one to the rear). Brett, their estimator, came to my home and provided an estimate. I said "let's do it." A couple of weeks later, the leveling was done. Because the work on one of the sidewalks was done poorly, I had to call and ask them to fix it. They said that they would. Another month goes by. I still haven't heard from them, so I called. "Sorry, we forgot about you." Several months have now elapsed. We are in November. They told me a crew would be out to do the warranty work on the sidewalk and perform the sealing (filling the seams between the slabs). A crew fixed the sidewalk - but did not seal between the slabs. I called again. "Oh, we don't do both at the same time. We have different crews for each." Finally, they came to seal, but before they sealed, they had to clean the seams - which I can confirm they did, because they left piles of rubbish in my yard (rubbish and 'spacer' material that had been in the seams). Then they sealed and the sealant became a magnet for blowing leaves - so I now have sealer with leaves 'glued' into it. But wait, it gets better. They send me a bill, which I paid, promptly. It was less than the quote, so I figured that I was getting a discount for all of the hassle. WRONG! Two days later a corrected invoice comes in the mail. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL SHODDY WORKMANSHIP. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I would not recommend A-1 to a friend, even if A-1 was going to work on their property for free.

Contacted A-1 back in late October 2013 for an estimate of sidewalk leveling. Received an estimate in early November. Contacted A-1 a few days later to go ahead with the job. Did not hear back from them until early May of this year. They said that the weather caused the delay. I requested that they go ahead with the job. They came out to the house a few days later and completed the job in about 4 hours. Seven sections of sidewalk were leveled. The sidewalk looks great compared to what it looked like before. I received a 4 year guarantee on the job.

I am very happy that I can say I got my cracks filled! I was mowing my driveway with all the weed & grass growth in the joints. The driveway looks fantastic now, they finished from the back of the garage all the way up to the sidewalk (I have a long driveway). I thought the price was expensive when quoted, but went ahead. Post the job, I realized they did a tremendous amount of work. I felt it was a high value.
