Description of Work: We had 2 leaks in our basement, both from different areas. Water had stained our dry walled ceiling in our finished basement. Paul discovered a leak from our toilet, and a leak from our washer. He even found a huge wasp nest in the wall.

+ 1 moreWe had a new air conditoner installed this summer in a very old house which had never had A/C. It was quite a job, but it was done with great knowledge and expertise. We have used Paul's for many repairs in the past from installing new drains and pipes in the basement, to replacing faucets. They also have done excellent work on our furnace, both as maintenence and on an emergency basis. There has always been prompt resonse to emergency calls. They are very knowledgeable and caring in their work. They leave the work area with no mess left behind.

They also serviced our furnace both for maintenece and on an emergency basis. Their response to the emergency call was prompt and efficient. They have also made several plumbing repairs for us, never leaving behind a mess.

+ -1 moreOverall service was great! I called on Monday to schedule the service call for Wednesday (when I had a day scheduled off work). Jeff (responding service technician) called early Wednesday morning to confirm I was home, showed up about 15 minutes later, by about 9 AM that morning. = He had to leave to get parts, but was back promptly and by 10:15 AM the job was done!
Description of Work: My basement wash tub drain was essentially a smaller pipe that just laid inside the larger drain pipe in the floor, the two had never been connected. Whenever our area had a hard rain, I would experience a sewage gas smell. Paul's replaced the galvanized pipe from my wash tub with PVC, and then fit and sealed the PVC from the wash tub drain to the larger copper pipe that existed in the basement floor. The service tech also installed a valve that would allow air to flow out (away from house), but not back in, sealing out the sewage gas smell.
