The owner of this company took on the work of another cement company (NRK) when the NRK business was sold abruptly (and thus our contract was "transferred" in April). Owner of Next Generation, Eric Hooper, came out to finalize the details early May, really impressed us and gave us an early mid May start date that didn't work out for him. When they were finally able to come on site (late June), the crew did lots of earth moving, got the walls framed when it rained for a couple of days. Wanted bulk payment up to that point (not in contract), wrote on contract that patio pour would take place within 2 weeks then left (we assumed work would resume somewhere before July 15)- retaining walls in place, and not an ounce of soil back filled. The whole yard was a complete mess.....and it remained that way until I got pushy at end of July. Finally got crew out here August 3rd. Done on August 6th. Nice crew, hurried and stressed owner, wanted payment in full immediately.....nice work....a tad bit forgetful about scoring the patio as he described in May. Quality seems above average, but the working relationship and having to seemingly chase them for communication really shook us up.

. I contact them to come out and excavate and pour walls and footings for a garage/loft addition. Before the project started he was easy to get ahold of and responsive. The job was not completed correctly. They did not leave openings for 2 entry ways to the garage. Since this is fixed by a concrete cutting, I got ahold of him immediately and asked if he would come out and make the openings so that we could continue with the next stage. He didn't return my husbands phone calls, ignored a few texts of mine. Finally responded to one text, apologized and said he would be out to fix it in 2 Fridays. He didn't show up or call. I phoned him again and asked if he would please schedule a time to come correct this. No answer. I have followed up with an email, No response. My only thought is that he has no intention of making this right. Additionally, there was a 12 x 12 shed that was attached to the foundation and he poured that in the wrong dimensions. I will have to pay close to 400.00 for someone else to come out and correct the openings, and can do nothing regarding the measurement error. UGH! I did not want to write a poor review, but feel that he left me no options. I would be more than happy to update this if he shows up and cuts out the openings for the two entry ways that were missed.
