Horrible. First they tell me the thermostat didn’t work (third one I have had installed). Then he ran a check and every time he came upstairs something else was wrong. Needed a new capacitor. Wanted to replace my filter for $10. 🤣 What a joke. By the time he left the bill was almost $400. Now only 3 weeks later my furnace has gone out again. Called to have someone come out. They were supposed to be at my house between 9a and one. No one showed up so I called. They said they didn’t even have me down for a service call so now I’m on day 3 with no heat. I admit I wasn’t likely very nice but she hung up on me. I tried calling back and she was very rude. Will NEVER use them again. I have asked them to have the owner call me twice now and have not heard from him. Sad because they have always had such a good reputation. My parents always used them so that’s why I went with them in the first place. I wouldn’t use them now but they were the ones who installed the furnace originally.

They were prompt and professional but they charged me $69 to tell me the unit didn't work and to give me a bid. The bid was much to high for the quality of equipment they were going to use (Amana). I got a better system for less money from Eric Dale.

This was a great experience. The call taker was polite and gave good information. Estimated time of arrival between 1 and 5 p.m. on the day of the call. Service technician arrived at 2 p.m. He was courteous and listened to the problem. He examined the furnace, the internal air conditioning components, and then the external. He provided a total cost and had the part for the unit in his truck. Following the repair, he cleaned the outside compressor unit and examined the internal components. We were educated in a respectful manner on the proper maintenance of the compressor unit. I would not hesitate to call upon them again. I am totally satisfied.

Saiid he would arrive between 10 and 2, Arrived about noon. Found problem quickly. A part had gone out. Went back to his bldg. and returned with part. Quickly replaced. Did full system check and advised me the system was a littlelow on coolant. I decided not to rechage due to cost of R-22 refrigerant. Serviceman was knowledgable, professionall, courteous and did his wotk with a minimum of fuss. Will calll them back next year for a biid to replace with the heating and cooling unit..

very good. They always do a good job keeping my furnace running. The parts were covered under warranty. i just had to pay for labor.

They are always prompt and courteous and do outstanding work. I would recommend them to anyone without reservation.

I have used Hodgson for years, simply because no one else has compared to them in terms of value and service. Had an A/C go out and they drove 60 miles to get a replacement unit so it could be installed in time for what was needed. Prior to that, I had a furnace stop working. They provided space heaters to keep us warm until the furnace was replaced. Nothing but top notch and friendly service!

Wee but they use a less expensive thermostat. I had them replace their thermostat with the one I originally had being mine had vacation mode.

They were wonderful. They came early. If something go wrong they came, they tell you about how you need to get another furnace or something. They were real good about it. I would use them again.

I have the and quot;Peace of Mindand quot; program which is why there was no charge on the service performed. Otherwise, the cost of the service would have been $188.00 Hodgson will come back in the spring to check my filters, etc. to make sure the central air will be at it's peak performance. The technicians have always been professional and will explain what they're doing if asked. They always clean up the area and I'm very happy with the service and the Peace of Mind program.

For $163 you can buy an insurance policy with them. We have a furnace and central air that was installed in 1995 and it hasn't been running right. Lo and behold, rodents had taken up in the central air and our furnace is such that I couldn't get at it. They took it apart and took out enough lint to knit two coats. Our efficiency went up 20%. It was all covered under our insurance. It would have been a lot more expensive if it had been separate calls. They did $500 worth of work under that $163 insurance policy. They have their service fee but they will give you an estimate for repair work so you can make appropriate choices. Our air conditioner was working and we're having record breaking temperatures. Because ours was working, they put us off for about a week so they could put the people who had nothing up front. I appreciated that. I absolutely will continue to use them.

I called and the salesman (Ron) came out and did a couple of estimates for me. He was super friendly and helpful. He completely understood that I didn't understand what he was talking about and explained everything to me. The installation went smooth and they explained all of the new parts that they were putting in. 2 years later and everything still works wonderfully!

My AC stopped working and I called them Monday morning to come out and fix it. They said someone would be at my house in the afternoon, but called me 10 minutes later and said that they were able to get someone out to my house within the hour. They came here, worked in the heat all day and fixed the problem.MY Ac (from 1988) needed a new motor and a new fan. The AC man left and picked up the items and returned to my home to install them. My AC is working great!

They are a local company. It was really good service. They were quite valuable. When there was an issue, they were here quickly on the same day. The job turned out great. The price was reasonable. They are like any company where you have to wait hours. We would use them again.

They were friendly, but eager to see a whole new unit. I question the integrity or knowledge of this representative.

They're always pretty good. They check it over, tune it up, and change the filter in our units. They have always been here when they said they would come, the people are pleasant, they are cooperative, and they seem to know what they are doing. The furnace we have now is a replacement of the one that we had before. The person that came to do our inspection told us to get a new one, so we had them install a newer one.

We have been using them for many years now and they are great. They come out every year for the general maintenance of our heating and AC. They do the regular cleaning and they replace the filters if it is required. They don't charge anything for the replacement of the parts because it is under a contract. The quality of their products is very good because we got very good energy efficient furnace and air conditioner. They come out when ever we need them to come and they are very friendly. We have been happy with their services. I would recommend them to everybody.
