Hired to put roof on new construction. Job looked good from ground. BEWARE, go on roof and check gateways. Should be no nail heads visible, if they are over time they will leak. Unfortunately several were showing. These people are not professionals!!

American Classic Construction / Roofing Company IS a “family run” HOME-WREAKING Predatory Scam Roofing Company They put a new roof on my home October 2021. The crew was UNTRAINED inexperienced young guys NO trained person to oversee job! ***Roof crew was given WATER SOLUBLE sealant for the vents and roof!!**** All this WASHED AWAY EXPOSING GAPS allowing water in MY ROOF and creating leaks into my home for year!!! Still getting poured on with every rain!!! The crews did not scrape the old goop from under the furnace vent and after sealant washed away it left the vent with a gap allowing water to go into my roof! This created a ceiling water stain and hole in floor in front of the furnace!! Now the threshold is pulling away from door frame!! Wall damage! When I FIRST called the company told them of the hole in floor, again sent inexperienced workers that did NOT completely seal up ALL of the voids and gaps left when roof was put on! Finally it was obvious to me this is A COMPLETELY SCAM COMPANY! I hired a certified experienced home builder / inspector company which found; 1. "Stains and elevated levels of moisture in several areas which is a conducive condition for wood-destroying organisms.“ MY HOME HAS BEEN WET SINCE THEY PUT THE ROOF ON! 2. “Manufactures recommendation is to extend starter shingles 3/8 to 1/2 " past drip edge of roof. Both sides have areas that are either short of drip edge and does not extend”. This SCAM Company did not even train or CARE that their crew knew HOW to the STARTER SHINGLES ON CORRECTLY! A simple half inch difference in training!!!! Which left BOTH SIDES of MY WHOLE ROOF EXPOSED! 3. Both air pipe flanges were too big and installed and chalked incorrectly! 4. Chalking Voids This SCAM family company were notified August 15, 2022 of roof leaking issues. NO RESPONSE!!! THEY HAVE INTENTIONALLY WREAKED MY HOME! This is a TRUE AMERICAN CLASSIC “HOME-WRECKING” family company!

Great local company. Roof took a couple days and they did a great job of cleaning up each night. (Except after the job was complete they forgot some shingles...no big deal). Nice people to work with.

He?s the kind of guy who when my kids cut down a couple of trees and he was dropping off some firewood, he hopped off his truck and cut the tree up for us for no charge. If we ever have a problem where we have a leak or something, he?s always prompt to get out here and take care of it. They don?t come any better than that. I would highly recommend him.
