"If I could give less than one star I would. Hired Alvie to replace a porch and install some new exterior doors. He bid the job, took the 50% deposit and I chased him for weeks to start. Didn’t purchase supplies he quoted and I paid for. Rarely showed up when he said he would. Tons of excuses. Asked for gas money to come work on my job Then wanted more money before job was completed. The work done was not as agreed or quoted. Finally ended up firing him. Have to hire someone else to finish work"

"Excellent Doug and crew fixed my bathroom flooring that was failing Installed new toilet on strengthened and insulated floor. Second fix was replacing water heater. Floorboards were rotted so replaced and all new insulation One day! Doug and crew very polite and friendly, always try to save me money and immaculate clean up Will call again !!"

Throughout my 40 years of home ownership, my projects have including installing sprinklers, pool heater, outdoor landscaping including multiple decks, basement refinishing and fixing just about every home appliance you can think of. There is a right way to do things and it’s based upon pride of workmanship. I will not take on something that I am not confident of completing and doing so correctly. As I approach retirement, I believe I can use my experience to provide a quality service and give me the opportunity to do what I’ve always enjoyed- spending time in the workshop :)
