unfortunately we were unable to use the services of this company. Despite multiple contact requests, Timberland failed to follow through on every commitment they offered to us. We reached out more than 10 times to get them to give us a quote. Each time there was actual contact, the manager told us that he would have an answer by the end of the day. Never did they give us a quote. We spent 3 months messing around with this manager and lost valuable time before working with another company. Very poor responsiveness and professionalism.

Overall the job looked ok at finish. It was the end of the season so it was difficult to see if everything worked as planned. | |However, as the spring came, it became apparent the Pop-ups were not installed correctly (were too low) and caused puddling preventing proper function and overgrowth of grass which also prevented proper functioning. (one was broke from the get go) and they came out and did a bogus fix. | |The wood chips they layed, they did not bother to lay a protective barrier so it was full of weeds from the get go. (and they removed a medium size boulder my wife after my wife told them to leave it - who knows why, maybe they sold it to another customer I do not know). | |- After I gave them until the end of the season to see how everything shook out (as agreed). I tried to get the job corrected. I spoke to the guy who managed the project and got excuse after excuse and he wasn't phased when I asked him if he wanted to stand by his work and our verbal conversations. I also dropped a letter off to the President at their office - who never called me to inquire. | |- They refused to stand by their job and gave every bogus excuse. They are 10% higher than other quotes, (but my friend used them and said they were good). | |(NOTE - they claimed they sold the residential business to another person) - They still operate under the Timberland Name but only do Commercial - or so they told me.
