C&P Tree Service

This was an exceptionally pleasant experience. I had three 50+ year old large blue spruce trees removed. Hector Contreras had come by last fall to give me an estimate assuring me his team would do a good job both removing the trees and cleaning up. I told him I had to wait until spring. He assured me his quote was good for a year. I figured this was going to be a long, long process. Boy was I wrong. When the team of 6 showed up they went right to work. Not only was the job done efficiently, cleanly, and speedily, it was done in little over 2 hours! Amazing! Each member knew their part and it was stunning how well each member worked as a team. Even on a very hot day, 80+ degrees, no one stopped until the job was done. I was asked along the way how it was going and if it was up to my standards. After the work was done, I was amazed to have a clean yard with no sign of disturbance except the trees were gone. I asked to have the stumps left and I couldn't be happier! ***I would recommend this fabulous service without hesitation! The price was right, the workmanship outstanding, and the whole experience was entertaining to watch. The workers were respectful, and worked diligently.

My husband hired C&P Tree Service to trim two trees and remove another at my grandmother's house, and I couldn't be more disappointed. We were repeat customers, but will never use them again. Hector quoted a price and stated that he would remove some brush we had from another company's spring cleaning service as well. Needless to say, that didn't happen. However, the worst of it was the fact that C&P totally destroyed our fence with no mention of it while removing the tree. Unbeknownst to them, we had contractors at the house who immediately told us what happened. There was no mention of this on their end, and Hector pretended to be unaware of the issue when he informed us that the job couldn't be completed that day. To their credit, they did restore the gate. Nonetheless, I found it extremely unprofessional to not own up to it and let us know what happened. They came the next day to trim the trees, but the trees look exactly the way they did before they came. Had I known that was the service we would receive, I would have saved my money. When my husband called to inquire if they would return to remove the brush as they agreed upon, Hector told him that he didn't remember saying he would remove it and then went on to rudely lecture him on the importance of getting things in writing. What an insult! I suppose his word is worth nothing. I will never use this company again - not even for free. I have made it a point to warn others as well. If you have money to waste with very little to show for it, then C&P is the right choice for you.

They were very professional, they showed up on time and I am satisfied with their service.

The work done went very well, they were quick, efficient and they cleaned up afterwards, all of the workers were very pleasant. and they hauled the wood branches away as well.

I was very impressed, all around. Jose gave a competitive quote, including full removal of downed trees and area clean-up. Also, the trees requiring removal included 2 quite large/tall cottonwoods both in difficult locations - one alongside a pole barn (trunk up against gutters) and the largest near home, pole barn and in a carefully tended woodland garden filled with rare and native wildflowers. I was very nervous about the plantings - a bad experience using a different contractor left a similar stand of wildflowers decimated and ruined several years ago. I expressed my concern to Jose, asking for him to take special care and to please keep damage to a minimum. He said that he would. The job was scheduled quickly, the team showed up just a bit late, waiting on the truck used to mulch branches. Once they started, they worked quickly and professionally - no branches dropping haphazardly from tree, all branches were taken down using ropes. Ropes are also what the team used to get up the tree - there was no cherry picker. A team of about 7-8 gentlemen worked at a impressive pace, and I have to say, there was NOT A BIT OF DAMAGE TO MY GARDENS. Needless to say, I was very very happy with this outcome. The team was friendly, very considerate (they helped my mom bring in some packages from her car) and very professional. The clean-up was impeccable - save the stumps left behind (and cut very close to ground - thank you!) one would be hard-pressed to tell that any work had been done, let alone removal of multiple trees. I would recommend Jose and his team without reservation, and fully expect to use this contractor for future tree removal work.
