I am a little disappointed that I feel I still have to maintain many weeds on my own with my own chemicals and I do feel that by now, the arborist should know of my weed and quot;issuesand quot; and he should know my lawn well enough and have it all figured out but I do have some tough weeds and or ground cover which are unfortunately impossible to get rid of in flower beds that spread out into the lawn. Unless I am going to ground kill everything. I just wish they would pay more attention to those areas (bordering areas where weeds typically start to spread from). We have a and quot;tree of heavenand quot; that sprouts up all over our back yard every year that needs to really be paid lose attention to along with wild ivy, lily of the valley and wild violets - then your typical weeds. However, that said, they never give me grief when I call to let them know even after a treatment that I still have issues with weeds. They are responsive and polite and genuinely seem to care about keeping their customers- hence the reason I have stuck with their services. I've had several lawn companies who are not customer service oriented and tell me I've been unfair in my expectations of weed control (funny considering that is what they've been hired for). NOT Owen Tree Service. They are easy to work with --- and overall, I am happy with their service. I would recommend them to anyone who asks.

We have worked with Scott Ouellette, a certified arborist with Owen, for years! Scott understands our desire for safety and tree health while "letting nature take its course" whenever possible. He comes out promptly, does a complete yard walkabout with us and we discuss the issues we see and any we have missed that he sees. He is so knowledgable and has been a great guide to keeping our trees happy and healthy. The workers are always very friendly, do excellent work, answer any questions, discuss any issues, and do a great job of clean up. They are and always will be our go to company for our trees.

We still have had an issue this year with fungus but I think it was because of the weather. Overall the tree looks good but because of the wetness and heat there still have been some issues.

They were very prompt, professional and responsive. Some of the tree portions fell in the lawn.

They do excellent trim work and their crews are fast and efficient. I wouldn't be with them for 10 years and I can endorse them as being not fly-by-night. We had major work done around our farm last year, probably around $5000 worth, which is economical since they put down probably a couple of 100 trees. They keep on top of our trees. They look at them and give us an analysis each year and take a look; and it is a personal service. We have a personal representative who comes out and check on us. They are just a top-notch show company. They are going to be a little higher than the fly-by-night but I know they are insured and I know that they are not going to sue me for a million dollars if a tree falls on them.

I have used Owen for tree cutting, spraying, and stump removal. I have been quite pleased with their performance. I am happy that they clean up after themselves.

We had over 100 trees taken down which was a humongous amount of work. They are insured, they are safe, they are responsive, and they work well with the customer. Their price was probably higher than usual but at least they didn't kill themselves or any of our livestock. It took them a couple of weeks to get here, but we expected that.

Overall we are glad that we discontinued our previous contractor and decided to hire Owen Tree Service. For several years, we had our Hawthorne tree professionally sprayed for fungus by another company, however, the leaves still had fungus and dropped early in the season. Owen Tree Service came promptly for an estimate to spray our Hawthorne tree for fungus and recommended a stronger product than what our previous service had used. They also came to spray the tree when they determined it was the best time for controlling fungus(early Spring). So far(end of June) most of the Hawthorne tree leaves do not have any fungus, and look very healthy. We discovered that Owen's price was about $17 higher then our last provider for another similar product(that they never recommended) but we believe it was acceptable to get a much better analysis and end result. Had several companies come out and give me bids on project. Owen's had a certified arborist (Oliver) come out and tell me exactly what they would do and why. Gave us lots of information on our trees. Price wise they were about in the middle of the 8 estimates that I obtained. Scheduled the work around some construction we had going on they arrived bright and early on scheduled day, Oliver was on sight to direct the crew to get them started. They worked quickly and cleaned up after themselves, the trees looked wonderful. I have recommended them to several neighbors. Had them return in the winter to trim our large Oak trees they did a great job and took great care to protect our lawn from their equipment.

After contacting several companies for a quote, I decided Owens would do a good job. I sent in a deposit to begin the work but to my disappointment, the work did not begin promptly. It took three weeks to get to me. I was having painting done to my house and I had hoped the trees would be removed before the painting began, but the trees came down the day after the painting began. I was disappointed that my deposit check was cashed promptly but the work didn't begin promptly. As of today the work is only 2/3 complete. The stump grinding is not finished.

They never called me back to discuss the work. I had to call 3 times before someone did call me back.

OVERALL IT WAS GOOD. THEY CAME OUT AND CUT THE TREES DOWN. THEY WERE WAY UNDER THE MARKET COST, SO I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO SOMEONE ELSE. THEY GROUND DOWN THE STUMPS AND CLEANED UP ALL THE DEBRIS.
