The technician is nice and done the work well. this is the second time the Vedder electric did electric for me, first time was to install a light and costs bellow $200. This time there was more time work, I thought the bill should be bellow $300, but I received a bill for ~$430. the five GFCI outlets charge me $187.5, others are labor. This is overcharge.

The problem was with a receptacle connected to space heaters. The electrician ran the problem down logically and replaced the faulty receptacle and a couple of bad-looking others.

Rob and Kevin do excellent work and were very professional. We also used Vedder to install a new electrical panel and they did a great job. Highly recommend. They even worked during the power outage in the beginning of March 2017.

The outlet for our electric cooking range was not putting out 220V. Made an appointment with the company. Electrician came out the following week. Was able to get it fixed the first time.

They did excellent work. Some of my light switches were not working and I couldn't figure out where the problem was. They came out and found it and fixed it.

The work was done efficiently and carefully. They had to work around some of the oddities found in a 92 year old Dutch Colonial and added outlets in places we needed to have them. They always kept us informed of how they would solve some of the problems they had to work around. They came back quickly two weeks later when the removal of a light fixture in the kitchen by a company removing a water damaged portion of ceiling caused a breaker to die leaving us with no electricity on the side of the room needed to cook, etc.

The electrician arrived on time and got right to work. He finished earlier than expected and then asked if I was available to help him identify and label all the circuit breakers. He made it clear that I didn't need to help and he could handle it, but it would go faster with two. I agreed and we made relatively short work of it. Since the work was done, we've had no electrical problems in the house and a couple small oddities have cleared up. I'm very pleased with Vedder's work.

Rob was polite, respectful, professional, and timely. I felt it was a safety issue so they worked me in the next day. He wasn't condescending to me when explaining the problem and how he was fixing it. He was very understanding about my need for the invoice right away as it was a rental house and I felt the price was very fair.

1-19-15 The estimator came out on time. He was very knowledgable. He said he would email me the price and did tell me they are not the cheapest and that he has plenty of jobs. I already knew from reading reviews that they are high in price, but not every job is pricey. So i wanted to see what the price would be compared to other quotes i got. Well, today is 1-22-15 and NO ESTIMATE in my email. It shouldn't take several days or weeks. I had other electricians also take a week to get back to me. Its ridiculous!! I had another company come out on 1-20-15 for an estimate and they gave me an estimate on the spot! Why couldn't they give me a quote on the spot???? I was told by this other company that it was only a 2 hour job. So, why couldn't Vedder give me a price right then and there if it was a simply 2 hour job that this other company was saying.. Anyways, I hired the company that came on 1-20-15 and that company came on 1-21-15 to do the work and it took only 3 hours with some additional work that we wanted done. NO REASON NOT TO GIVE A QUOTE RIGHT AWAY. YOU'RE AN ELECTRICIAN, U SHOULD BE ABLE TO GIVE A QUOTE ON THE SPOT UNLESS ITS A NEW WIRING JOB OR COMMERCIAL JOB! I NOW HAVE ONE LESS PERSON TO CALL IF I NEED SOMETHING DONE!! I'LL CALL THE OTHER GUY

Perfect in all ways. Received same day service, and they asked questions ahead of time about the fuse box itself to be sure they had the correct product in stock to fix the problem before they came out to be sure the work could be completed on arrival. Professional, punctual, courteous and knowledgable. Given some suggestions to eventually separate the lights from the outlets in the bathrooms that are controlled by the circuit but no pressure to have me do the extra work - merely something to think about.

This was a very tricky job, since it called for the replacement of the electronic guts of a Casablanca fan we loved, but the parts did not come with usable instructions. The service provider persevered though calling the company and wading through their eventually helpful people, and got it working better than new.

The installer was friendly and professional. After discussing options on the first visit, he returned and did the installation, which took around 1/2 hour. I never asked for a cost estimate, and the bill came as quite a surprise, given the rather minor character of the work performed.

Blown/bad fuse was traced to bad outlet. Outlet was replaced/repaired. Problem solved. Simple. Easy. Quick. A tad expensive, but I am familiar with their work and trust them. We might be able to do this ourselves next time, but it was still good to have the overall issue verified. We would definitely call them in the future.
