Timely and on budget.

We stopped the job and terminated the contract due to poor quality work. Tribble Painting was hired because they were the "top rated" company and we didn't want to have any problems. Our 1964 ranch home has cedar siding that needed a bit of TLC in 3 or 4 locations due sun, weather etc. The sales person was friendly and knowledgeable and made a good pitch about skilled workers, prep work etc. Since some areas of the paneling and cedar siding were too rough to smooth out, we opted to have their carpenter replace the wood in these areas. The paneling that was removed (under the windows) was quality 3/4 inch pine and replaced with C/D (very low) quality plywood that was rough -- thus, the replacement was pointless -- replacing damaged/rough boards with other low quality/rough boards) made little sense. We were not happy, but continued the job until further problems occurred. After about 3 days of random/ad hoc scraping, the painters informed us that the prep work was "done" and they would begin painting the next day. After the ad hoc scraping, they immediately covered exposed areas with primer. Thus, the rough surfaces were covered and sealed without any sanding at all -- none. We advised the workers that the 3 or 4 trouble spots would need further attention (sanding) prior to paint and they informed us that sanding was not included. The $7,000 quote would need to be increased to $10,000 if sanding of these trouble spots on the front of the house were to be completed. Who ever heard of prep work with ZERO sanding? (The contract said "light sanding"). Needless to say, we terminated the work and agreed to pay $2,000 for carpentry, random/ad hoc scraping, and caulking. I later hired a neighbor who did a beautiful job. The sales rep was polite and even dropped off several already purchased cans of primer and paint. I've never heard of painting a home exterior with absolutely no sanding. Others seem to be satisfied with this company, so I don't know what to think. I would never hire or recommend them for exterior painting.

Called for estimate. Todd, the owner responded quickly and came to assess the situation. Listened to my questions. Left and extensive list of references. Because of Tribble's excellent Angieslist reports and a good report from a trusted friend, I did not get any other estimates. I picked out the color and they did the rest. They said don't worry about whose color chip you find we can match it. They use high quality paint. Covers well and dries quickly. Because of the rainy spring they did the work in one day with four men instead of two days with two men. The edges were neat and clean. And as far as I know they didn't use masking tape. Wow! The painters listened to my questions and were willing to do whatever I asked. Even painted the garage doors and one barn entry door with a standard brown for no extra charge. They cleaned up everything before they left. After they had left i noticed one of the entry doors to the house which had been polyurethaned, looked really bad. Uneven tone. Todd came back to look and suggested that paint would be a better option for that door...because it was so beat up by the western sun and the paint would do a better job of protecting it and making it look better. The painters returned and for no extra charge painted the door. Looks great now. The whole team was friendly, polite and cooperative. i had to leave for a few hours the morning they came, but I trusted them to do the job. They did. I would definitely recommend Tribble painting to others and I look forward to working with them in the future. (Interior work to be done). Also my German shepherd dog enjoyed "helping" them and they had no problem with her presence.

I was disappointed with the overall service provided by Tribble Painting Company. There were things that they should have done as part of the job that they didn’t do. I thought the main issue was that they didn’t do a very good job on the prep work before the painting started. They didn’t remove or replace the old cocking. We had a new deck put in that needed sanding before it was painted but they didn’t do that. There were also some issues with paint colors that I thought they dropped the ball on. When we brought these matters to their attention, they were more than willing to correct their mistakes. That was great. I would not consider using this company in the future.

I removed wall paper which left a surface that needed work to patch. They put a quick coat of paint on first so that the sponts needing patch would show up better. After a day of prep they put on two coats. We had selected two colors. They had removed light fixtures and hardware for painting. Then put it all back together and cleaned up everything

Very efficient use of time. Good quality paint and supplies were used. A half wall was built that matched the home interior perfectly. Workers were careful of my posessions, offered to move many things, etc. I also asked for new hinges & doorknobs to be installed. The fee seemed very reasonable to do so.

I had used their services in the past too. They provide outstanding customer service. Their prices are a little bit higher than other painters but they are worth it. They have a person who comes out to do the estimate but he is also very good at following up. I actually started in this summer with having them look at the deck and then discovered that I needed a new roof which I didn?t know. So they had to wait until the roof was done before they could do what they were supposed to do. They were very accommodating about that. They followed through efficiently about what was going on, when they were able to come and what time they would be coming. They also came on time and were very reliable. They did a quality job. My deck looked brand new and the new one looked wonderful. I would definitely use their services in the future too and I have no doubts about it.

They were punctual, professional and answered our questions. We have decided to wait on the service, but will likely use Tribble.

Great-They were higher priced than others, but I talked them down and we discussed was was most important to meet my price point. Good quality work and very clean, and when I called back with a minor complaint, they were back to fix it within the next day.

I've got mixed emotions on my experience with them. Overall, they did a pretty good job, but they were out here and they spilled a can of paint on the driveway. Even though they cleaned it out, I didn't think that was very professional. I also didn't get much help with color and they weren't that cheap.

My next door neighbor referred them the work is very good. My neighbors are picky so I was confident they would do good work. To me they were a little bit expensive, but then I haven't had anything painted for 16 years.

I could not be happier with their work, Prompt, efficient, and the work was best quality.

We didn't use them. The price included the paint. We got a better price from someone else. The gentleman that came out was very informative and helpful. He showed us a whole list of references. He was very knowledgeable and showed us their insurance. We were able to get an appointment within a few days of calling them.

The estimate given by them sounded fair and sounded what I thought it was going to be. The interaction that I had with them was fine. The guy who came out understood what I wanted done and told me what I needed to get. He also told me what they were going to do. They could get the work done in 2 days and I was interested in having them do the work. They also had a 10 percent discount if you had the work done before the end of March which he made sure that I got. He came out right on time and I asked him to call me before he got here because I wanted to keep my dog away. So he called before he got here and everything was fine. He was very good and knew what he was talking about. I guess he has done it fairly well. He is a young man, but he did a nice job. I will wait and see how they will do the work in order to hire the company again.

My garage was in very bad shape so they had to do a lot of prep work. The people I worked with were excellent and they always took off their shoes if they needed to come inside. They did a beautiful job and they were nice to work with. The price was reasonable for the job that needed to be done. I'm starting to see a little peeling and I'm a little concerned about that. I didn't get many quotes because Tribble has such a good repuation.

Our house was due to have all the exterior wood trim and doors painted. We contacted Tribble Painting for an estimate and Todd Tribble came out, reviewed the work to be done, and used his laptop to generate a detailed quote on the spot. Carpentry repair work was needed in a couple areas and Tribble proposed to make the repairs on a time and materials basis. We were glad to have the carpentry included rather than have to contract for that separately. The Tribble employees (Aaron, Joe, Jason) were very professional. If anything, they "over communicated" which we really appreciated. They were prompt, neat, clean, and respected our property. The painting results were the best we've experienced. We were very satisfied with the work that Tribble performed and appreciated their flexibility and focus on customer service.

They were very nice people and the work went very well. They were totally upfront and trustworthy. I could leave them in my house when we were not there. Their prices were right in the middle of the range and I think they did an above average job.

They were very professional, responsive and punctual. The quality of their work was good and I was satisfied with their service.

I had an excellent experience from start to finish. Aaron came out and did the estimate-he was punctual, very professional and answered all of my questions. The painting crew that came out were also prompt, courteous and professional. They did a beautiful job and left no mess behind. Although the estimates were slightly higher than the other two I received it was worth every penny. I would not hesitate to use them again and recommend their services to friends and family.

It was great! They were professional, clean, and punctual. They are the best painting company in the world. I am very happy with their service. They are not the cheapest, but you do get what you pay for.
