Description of Work: I spoke with someone from this builder, and was told that they are extremely busy and so are fortunate enough to be able to choose their projects. Our budget did not match up with the price of homes that they build, so we did not pursue a further meeting.

Description of Work: I had a total gut and remodel of kitchen floors of entire first floor either refinished or replaced. I did demo removing old paneling from kitchen, TV room, office and hall, which they replaced with new dry wall. I had a set budget with a 20% contingency fee. The final cost went over budget, over contingency by at least another 10%. I'm afraid to add it all up.

Description of Work: Meadowlark Builders did a great job. They renovated the entire main floor and upper floor of our condominium. They responded to all our inquiries promptly and courteously, and the workmanship was excellent. The worked very well with the condo management and our neighbors. What struck us most was their integrity, never complaining when we asked to change something that wasn't exactly what we wanted, always checking health and safety issues beyond what we thought of, and continuing to come back to address smaller issues promptly long after we had paid them in full. Description of Work: Meadowlark Builders performed an energy efficiency audit for our family.

Description of Work: Meadowlark Builders (MLB) completely renovated my 2nd floor and basement. We provided spray foam insulation throughout the 2nd floor and basement. We relocated the existing heating/cooling system and installed new ductwork. We installed a heat pump with electric baseboard backup at the 2nd floor. We installed radiant floor heating in the master bathroom. We installed a basement egress window. We upgraded the electric service to 200 amps. We provided white oak selects hardwood floors at the 2nd floor and we replaced both the main and basement stairs with red oak treads and risers. We provided a tempered glass railing at the top of the main stairs. The 2nd floor interior partitions were held to 7'-6" to allow for an open floor plan. We relocated the basement laundry to the 2nd floor. We added a basement half bathroom. We provided a stall shower, whirlpool tub, and toilet in the master bathroom. We provided stone countertops in the 2nd floor bathroom, basement bathroom and basement kitchenette. We provided a GE 50 gallon high efficiency heat pump hybrid water heater. We provided an energy recovery ventilator that serves the bathrooms and kitchen. We replaced the rear deck with cedar and tempered glass perimeter railings and trex floor boards. We waterproofed the south basement wall. We removed the whole house plumbing trap buried 12 feet underground.

Description of Work: They remodeled our upstairs which included raising ceilings, hanging doors, and installing closets.

Description of Work: Meadowlark performed an energy audit on my home that included all of the following and more: Blower door test, attic insulation inspection, inspection of home infrastructure and all electric/gas using equipment including furnace/AC, water heater, washer/dryer, dishwasher, etc, IR testing of walls to inspect insulation. This is a certified audit and Meadowlark is one of the few in the area that are certified to perform this sort of audit. I also mentioned that I was considering some other work on my home including backup sump pump and they looked at my sump system.
