Description of Work: Repaired a 2x3 foot hole in our ceiling. Insulation, dry wall, paint. We had a pretty strict budget that they were anle to stay within andvghey listened to and respected our opinions on what was necessary and what was not.

Description of Work: After seeing numerous good reviews for this company, I contacted them for an estimate for painting the exterior of my home. I contacted Ken the owner who explained he only does estimates once a month and had just done this month a few days ago and I would have to wait until next month. Since I was in no hurry, I scheduled an estimate. When the day came , Ken called me 10 minutes before our scheduled time, to cancel, explaining he had to meet with an important customer (guess I was an unimportant customer). We talked through specifics of the job and it was obvious he didn't want to travel out of Ann Arbor for work, but instead of directly saying so he continued to tell me how he wasn't the cheapest painter around and that I should look for someone else if I wanted to save money (up to this point I had not mentioned cost),. We agreed to discuss details further and he said he would get back to me. I never did hear from him again. If you live in Ann Arbor, the numerous good reviews lead me to believe he does good work. If you live outside Ann Arbor, I would look elsewhere.

Description of Work: We asked the company for an estimate for refinishing the hardwood floors in 4 rooms of our house. Mr Lussenden promised to send and estimator and then to follow up by phone. The estimator arrived early, looked at the rooms, and said that the company charged by the hour, so any estimate was only a ballpark figure. He wrote up an estimate of $1000 per room or $4000 for the four rooms. Mr. Lussenden did not follow up by phone, which caused us to conclude that the company did not want this particular job.

Description of Work: Several rooms in our condo painted. Old glass shower enclosure doors removed. Tile in 2 shower enclosures, around bathtub, on 2 bathroom floors scoured fantastically clean.

Description of Work: The crew repaired my crumbling plaster walls and ceilings, primed and painted. They also refinished by oak floors. Our historic home has complex trim and crown moldings. My decorator specified six different colors which had to be executed by the painters.

Description of Work: They removed the old insulation from the back half of my attic, installed baffles, and then reinsulated. This took 3 days.
