Two of our trees and one of neighbor's were interfering with the line from the pole to their house. We hired J's to trim all three and lighten up the largest and remove dead wood. Workers came and did a fabulous job, with one exception: they didn't trim the neighbor's tree at all, even the estimate explicitly stated that it was the neighbor's tree. Still, readyy enough mistake, so I called the next day and spoke with the receptionist and told her about the mistake. She said that J would be out to look at it that day. Never showed up. Called again and this time spoke with J and was assured it would be taken care of. Still nothing. Called again on the next Monday and was told it would be scheduled for this week. Called again at 3:50 PM on Friday and got no answer. Over two weeks from when the work was scheduled to be done and the tree is still untouched. The work that WAS done was great, but I paid for three trees and one two were done.

Great. They were the only tree trimming company that returned my calls this summer. They came when requested and removed all the wood and scraps that the other company left behind. They did neaten up the stump so you don't even know it is there.

Called and they came out punctually to provide quote. I had a big job I needed done that was not an easy one. It was pretty evident that J's was not interested in doing it due to their demeanor and reluctance when looking at the job. I knew the job was not going to be cheap, but i was quoted 3500 for the removal of the tree which was on average $2,000.00 more than the other 3 quotes I received from the job. He also would not commit to cutting a tree branch back from a power line citing safety and liability concerns, which surprised me considering that I know this to be a common task performed by tree companies. Overall it seemed that J's was not interested in the job, and rather than decline it they threw an inflated quote at me. I will not contact them again.

J's trimmed dead branches out of a willow tree that hung over our brand new wooden fence. When J's arrived on the job, we were introduced to each crew member. That personal touch impressed me. I was nervous that something would fall on the new fence. After meeting the crew, I was very confident in their abilities. They did a beautiful job. Their combined skills made the trimming look easy. I know it wasn't easy but they are professionals and it shows. I highly recommend J's because of their work and because the price was very reasonable.

Cut down trees without damaging the surrounding live trees and the yard was spotless. Initially they left one large 4 ft stump--which looked horrible. There was a clause in the quote that excluded cutting if a barbed fence was involved. This tree had a barb fence growing through it (we had never noticed that). After Jason the owner took a look himself he agreed to remove that as well for additional $200 for the extra work and purchase of a special chain for the saw. They did the additional work within 24-48 hours.

They seemed knowledgeable when they walked around the property. They were less than half the price of other quotes that we got. They got back to us when we called and they came out fairly quickly to see the place. They tried to fit us in early but they weren't able to. Storm hit the day that they were supposed to come out. They were on time for their appointment. They did the day they said they were going to when they rescheduled it the one day because of the storm. They called me when storm was just over.

Wanted to drop a small 18 inch dead oak tree I would do the clean up and have them grind the stump. Basically a 20 min drop of tree maybe an hour or max two of grinding. Price 950.00 estimator came out said 100-150 guess for the grinding. They are busy don't know how three weeks out if you want to overpay. Will use someone else I try stay local but no way with them.

Out of the other estimates I received, J's pricing was about half of what the others were going to charge. I do not see how they could be any better. The crew was very nice to work with.

we were under the gun as far as weather setting in on us. They were able to come out and perform this in under two days.this company was very professional and the crew went the extra yard to help us. Would use them again-probably will this next spring.

They came out and gave us an estimate fairly quickly. However, after setting a date to do the work which was two weeks later, on the appointed day, they did not show up and did not call us. We called them twice and the last time they claimed the secretary was supposed to contact us to tell us when they would be coming. This didn't happen. They need to find a more reliable way to communicate with customers to update their status. We found another company to do the work.

We are putting in a new fence and the gigantic Cherry tree is in the way and has to go. The job was done in one day. First the lift truck cleared all of the branches. Then the branches were ground up and the tree dropped. Next the logs were cut and the stump ground. They moved the wood over to my wood shed so that I can easily split them for fire wood. We had some large rocks that were in the way for our new fence. J moved the large boulders back to make room for our fence. Excellent work and they left the yard clean and tidy.
