+ -1 moreIt went very well. I was contacted the day of the job when Max was enroute to the job. The text the arrival time along with a link to your smart phone where you can track your handyman's arrival. Max arrived on time and wasted no time getting to work. He was focused and stayed on the job until it was done. We stayed out of his way and let him do his work. He was courteous and respectful to us and our home. He cleaned up after himself --picked up the trash and hauled off the old vanity. Overall, We were pleased with the experience and the quality of the work. Handyman Connection isn't cheap but there were no "games" surprises, change ups, up charges or headaches. That in itself was worth something. My wife is pleased with the results. I would contract with Handyman Connection again.
Description of Work: Purchased a new vanity, vanity top and faucet from Home Depot and needed to have it installed. Originally Home Depot was going to have a contractor install it, but the Home Depot contractor called me and said the job as too small. I found Handy Man Connection (Ann Arbor) through the Angie's List site and was contacted by HC and "Max" was dispatched to quote the job, which was good because it was Max himself who was going to do the work. He showed up on time and quoted the price to complete the JOB not some mysterious hourly rate. We agreed that he would remove the old vanity, install the new vanity, vanity top, faucet and "re-plumb" the drain pipes / supply lines under the sink and haul off the old vanity.

Description of Work: I needed a handrail installed for basement stairs in an old house. There was no wall there so the rail needed to be attached to the steps. This also solved a safety problem of an open side to the stairwell.

Description of Work: I just had Handyman Connection do 2 bathroom upgrades: replacing lights and reconfiguring the electrical switches, which included plastering the big hole left by the old fixtures, removing wallpaper and painting, installing permanent shower curtain rod fixtures and new blinds. They also replaced a vent and put down trim in my front entrance. The work was beautifully done and the price was very reasonable. Joe Cox communicates clearly, provides a detailed outline of work for the estimate, offers options and recommendations as needed, and was thorough in making sure that we were on the same page as the worker before beginning. He was also flexible about doing the add-ons that came up while he was here (work in the front hall). I highly recommend this company and plan to use them in the future for other home projects.

+ 7 moreWe had a number of small projects and repairs around the house that I simply didn't want to spend time on. He replaced a number of worn electrical outlets and repaired some broken light fixtures. He fabricated a new bracket to hold a dishwasher in place. Repaired three sliding screen doors. Reinstalled exterior downspouts. Everything was done with perfect quality and amazing time. He even went to Home Depot to buy missing materials. The tracking app to show how close to arrival he is was also very cool. I wish there was a way to give 6 stars. I just cannot say enough good things about Max. I guarantee we’ll be calling Handyman Connection on a regular basis in the future. They were excellent!

+ -1 moreEverything went extremely well. We initially worked with Joe who came out to our home, reviewed the work to be done and gave us a quote. We scheduled a date to complete the work a few days later. Joe kept in contact during this period to confirm the time and date in case our schedule changed. The work was completed at the time and on the date scheduled. Merrit did a great job of removing the old caulk, re-caulking everything that needed to be done. He was very neat and cleaned everything after the work was completed. We were very pleased with the service, contact and quality of the work. We will definitely call them again as we have jobs in the future
