In April 2022 we signed a contract and paid the deposit to have our old solarium removed and replaced by Four Seasons of Ann Arbor. It was not until October that work began on removing the old solarium and installing the new one. Bob the salesman said parts were slow to arrive due to Covid-19. As with any project there were some bumps along the way, and the workers handled the problems appropriately. But then the project came to almost a complete halt in January 2023. We had to call Bob and Paul several times to find out when the workers would be returning, or what was going to happen next. They also had a problem with a subcontractor. The tile guy subcontracted by Four Seasons came out as floor tiles were needed and we discussed the design in January. On February 21 a new tile guy came out to begin the work. Seems Four Seasons could not contact their other tile guy and had to use some of their other workers to finish the floor tiling. We made our last payment to Four Seasons on March 1, 2023, almost a full year after signing the contract. We love the solarium design, no issue with that. But in hindsight, we should have hired our own tile worker. We had Four Seasons install a heat pump as well. It was mounted on a wall and we decided to replace the drywall, and add trim as well. The trim they installed is pitiful, and again we should have hired our own drywall workers. On the outside of the solarium where it meets the house, there is a strange bunch of plastic sheeting sticking out about 5”. We told Paul but he did not seem concerned. Now that Four Seasons has received full payment, they are not sending anyone back to address the problem with the double doors that do not close properly, remove the extra plastic sheeting outside, or fix some of the screens that are not fitted well nor fix the gaps in the dry wall work. My major complaint was the lack of communication after the start of the project, the long delays between stages of the work on the solarium, and no work on problems we have been having since the completion of the work.

01/2023 Worst experience of our lives & not over yet. Contract signed & $15,000 down payment September 2021. Bob, salesman, assured a top-quality construction crew & we’d be enjoying our room by Memorial Day 2022. NOPE. Paul, construction project manager never around, no communication, no show/no call & only show up for a check. Large sums due at certain steps of project. Incompetent crew would show up for a couple of hours, do a few things to get project to point of receiving next payment. September 2022 Paul showed for last large check, assured us our project would be done by October. We joked about losing leverage with last large payment. Entire project not one thing done has been done correct first try: from deck on up. Crews have been incompetent from construction to overpriced electrician they sent out without our input & who we fired & paid our own guy to finish, to the terrible rude drywall installer (Paul’s brother). Outside our room is only 50% done & part of that is not done correct; crooked siding; treks-porch & steps not flushed, only two of five gutters up & leak & underground drainage not even started. Inside of room we are still waiting for the moldings, trim work, & knee wall top to be mounted (we have it all painted and ready to go). Contacted Paul several times to no avail. Plus, interior damage they caused still to be repaired by them. Outside will be a fight with them in the spring. Believe our $58,000 went to complete the client before us, who I’m sure was speaking with lawyers as we are. Bottom line, don’t do it. Our joy of a beautiful addition is now a sad, frustration we live with every day. Not to mention we are a laughingstock of everyone we know. Run!

Bob took deposit money and never did work. All kinds of excuses with the one or two responses out of 20+ efforts to reach them. Only way to get money back is small claims. They don't take credit card deposits ... because they want to be able to bail and hold your money ... perhaps they are going out of business?!?! They still owe me!

They were friendly, came back to repair minor details right away. They came when scheduled. The sunroom is beautiful. We've had it for over ten years now and it is perfectly functional. We saw him at a trade show and he remember us from 10 years ago.
